Our original "Duofold"thermal top

Duofold is an Old Favorite
If you live in Colder Climates I think that Duofold is the only way to go. You do have to be aware however that these are heavy duty, keep you warm, long underwear. Most people can expect to get overheated in them if they midjudge the weather. Regular weave long underwear is probably more appropriate above 30F, and even down to 20F you can be too warm in these unless you run cold anyway. Perfect for snow and always under 20F. I live in the Upper Midwest closer to Chicago so we always have Duofold on hand...but they aren't for everyday, my husband can't wear the shirts to work because when you work in them you become too warm..so keep that in mind. Pefect if you live in Washington State, Wyoming, Idaho, North Dakota, Minnesota, Michegan, Upper New York or Canada...Maine and Connecticut. I love them and love that they come in Vests in Womens colors. : ) PS New York Lingerie Probably has the Best Price around.

soft and warm but a little on the large size
Great warm and soft under layer. It's a little thick and it runs a little large so keep that in mind when ordering. I usually wear a size 12 top and if it's not generous in the chest my 36d's need a larger size, but I would have been better off with a size L instead of the XL that I ordered. Great quality though!A couple of months later and after repeated washing and drying it's shrunk a little bit so it fits a little better. It's super warm and is holding up really well.

Warm but overpriced
Bought this because I was taking a trip to Illinois at end of October and I live in Texas so assumed it would keep me warmer than a Hanes thermal undershirt. Reviews said sleeves were "to long" from several people and I thought it sounded perfect because I seek out longer sleeves on layered clothing for my taller frame (5'9"). Sleeves barely cover my wrists . Purchased several Hanes thermal shirts (mens dept. small ) for $8 each and sleeves are long , kept me warm!

Very warm but poorly made
It's really warm. Inner layer is cotton and outer layer is wool - I was really surprised with how warm it was. But it's poorly made . . . I was really disappointed to find that the shoulder seam was torn open after one wash (gentle cycle) and one wear. You may also want to size up because it could shrink a little bit.

Much too long for me
This top might be a good fit for someone else, but at 26" long, it's too long for me to wear under other clothing. It covered my bottom; I can sit on it. I can't imagine any way to tuck it into outer pants comfortably. Maybe you should consider offering a petite top about 3" shorter. Returning this too.

Love my Duofold!
Very comfortable under nice dressy sweaters. Not too heavy and keeps me comfortably warm. I own 3 of these and wear them all winter. They do not shrink when washed and dried either!

Soft & Warm
This might be the most comfortable shirt I've ever owned. I wear it as a pajama top in the winter. It's incredibly soft & warm. However, it's also pretty enough that you could wear it as a shirt as well. I did go a size higher, because I wanted it to be a little loose. Duofold sizing is designed to wear as an underlayer - beneath clothing. For that reason, it's sized to be skin tight.

Not the item described.
I was not shipped the item in the description. It states it is cotton and merino wool, 2 layer. I received the cheaper cotton/polyester version. I own several of the cotton/merino wool duofold tops. They are fabulous. This is thin and cheap. Very disappointed. Would not recommend this seller NY Lingerie.
