A beautiful set with easy instructions. It does not include glue.

This was brought as a gift for my adult daughter who loves crafts and reading. She hasn't done one before and we weren't really sure what to expect.The quality of the wood in the kit, the way everything assembled with a snug fit really impressed both of us. Whilst you do need glue for assembly it was mainly decorating i.e. sticking paper images to the wooden structure rather than to hold the structure together.The instructions were a little difficult to follow at times so I could image children may require some help with this. Probably the most difficult part to follow was the wiring for lights, we managed to get this wrong but it didn't effect the overall finish.In general we were both really happy with the gift, so much so I suspect this will be the start of an ongoing hobby for both us.

Gorgeous book nook and fairly easy to put together, although niggly and fiddly in places. The directions are fairly clear and markings on the board to help where items are placed. The roof part was a bit frustrating to put on and the lights need a lot of patience. The wiring for the lights are a bit dodgy, the lights go on and off and the front button doesn't work on mine.You need to get glue and batteries which aren't included, I just used a PVA glue.Apparently there's a music box which can be bought separately but considering the price, you would think it would be included.Overall I'm pleased with it and I would buy again.

First time I tried one of these 'book nooks' and it was great fun to make.I looked at similar products before buying and this one seemed to be a knock off version of one by Anavrin but at a much cheaper price, so wasn't expecting the best quality but was pleasantly surprised.Each piece was laser cut and painted where necessary and slotted together perfectly. Top tip - use a craft knife to cut the joints on each piece instead of pushing them out. I didn't have a single broken piece using this method. Also check that the lights work before doing anything else.Some of the steps were quite fiddly to do so it's certainly not suitable for young children or those with frail hands. Glue is not included (every piece has to be glued together) but a tube of glue isn't very expensive. I bought an 80ml tube of silicone glue which was more than enough and stuck everything together very well.The instructions were easy to follow and it's a nice little project to do, which results in a worthy addition to any book shelf.

Fun to put together, great quality materials, clear instructions. I only have a few little gripes with some of the instructions towards the end, and a few pieces had to be modified to fit together. But altogether lovely kit.

My daughter loved this kit.She is working on it daily and it is coming together well.It will be beautiful when finished and displayed on her book shelves.I'm happy.

Love the book nook and are currently having fun building it. However unfortunately they didn't attach the touch sensor to the motherboard..it's just missing! Having a baby on the way we had to shelve the build and have only just got back to it and noticed it, well after the 30 days. Absolutely no way to contact to try and get a replacement as the robots say 'NO'.Bought as a gift absolutely gutted it's not going to work properly.

Bought this for my 11 year old daughter. We made it together, but it was great fun. Really nicely and carefully made - great present for someone… Does require a bit of thinking and patience though - this is not a two hour job!

This was a super fun kit! It didn’t make you want to tear your hair out, like some kits do…yet still had plenty of detail and lots to do! Took about 15 hours. Be sure to make sure the lights work BEFORE you begin! Mine didn’t. I was able to jerry-rig it together later, but it was a bit of a pain. Loved the finished product however. Super cozy and cute!

I bought this for my adult daughter for Christmas. She absolutely loves the finished product. However, this is not recommended for children. There are a lot of very small pieces and you have to sand and glue everything together. Very time consuming but she said she is going to purchase another one, different design. So end product was worth all the work!

I got about 17 of these, but I gotta say this is my favorite one. It’s very relaxing and addictive to build
