Love it.
I almost didn't buy this due to a few reviews I saw, but I'm glad that I did. It's not super fragile or unbalanced as one review said, but it is glass, so put it somewhere safe. The one I got is well balanced, on a flat bottom and has some weight to it. I also saw a reviewer upset because the sand took 32 minutes to run through, instead of 30. Mine takes around 30 minutes for the sand to move through, but I didn't buy it expecting precision so I haven't measured its timing precisely. Even a typical quartz wristwatch gains or loses 15 seconds each month. I would expect that humidity may affect how quickly the sand falls too.As a fun, decorative piece it's really nice and I love how it looks.

Exactly what I was looking for. A 30 minute timer that is sleek and beautiful color…. Very nice….

15 min timer is 18 mins
It's actually an 18 minute timer so now I need to buy a 10 min one to do 15 min sessions or I'll lose one session per hour over the course of a day, over $100/day lost at events. I needed accuracy so I'm not very happy.
