Freia Norwegian Milk Chocolate Bars, 12-Pack, 60g, Individually Wrapped, Rich, Decadent, Smooth Melt-in-Your-Mouth

I went in search of the chocolates provided in the mini bars on the Viking ocean cruises. Success! These are the same, and are as delicious as I remembered. The price is good and they arrived well packaged and unharmed. I was careful to order during cooler weather to avoid any possible problems with chocolate sitting on my porch in warm weather once delivered.

Norwegian chocolate is quite wonderful.

Ordered these early May, was told they’d get here 2 weeks after initial order. Just showed up today and every single one is melted and squishy. Very disappointing after having to wait so long. These also cost a lot of money and for them to turn up all ruined is ridiculous

The taste is smooth and chocolaty. I originally had the mini, which I got on a Viking cruise in our room and fell in love with them. I wish the minis could be bought but have not seen them anywhere for sale.

I am half Norwegian and half danish, and I grew up on this stuff. This is a very famous brand, and for good reason… Their chocolate products are amazing. I will say though that I usually pick up the king size bars from duty-free on my way back to the United States, and besides them obviously being a lot cheaper ounce for ounce, for some reason, the bigger bars are a little less hard… Don’t know why… it’s not that these smaller bars are hard, they’re just a little harder… Not as amazingly supple… (and I did check the expiration dates and they are well within their “best by” date). Overall, if you’ve never had these before, or you miss the homeland, you will be pleased with this purchase. Recommended!
