Beautiful and practical
I love this nut cracker. Great for cracking walnuts, but not so good on almond. Basically I think it has a tougher job with the harder shells. No problem though I then just use a rolling pin to whack the tougher ones!

Nice to hold.
It cracks nuts and nice to hold. The natural wood and mushroom like design give this cracker a warmth and charm beyond just a utensil. Practically for those who don't have the hand strength to use pliers type nut crackers the screw design may be easier to use.

Easy to use Nutcracker
Much easier to use and sturdier than the plier type nutcracker. (I've broken 2 plier type ones). Also the nut parts tend to shoot off with the plier type whereas this one collects them.

Broken in less than 10 nuts
waste of money. It was broken on the 1st day of using, less than 10 nuts.

Works well, will no doubt last a lifetime. Great entertainment to sit in front of the telly on a (cold, rainy) Christmas night & crack a few nuts. Recommended!

A bit stiff to turn but nice design
The wooden nut cracker is nice to look at but for someone with RSI, it's not easy to use. I'll look for a metal grip one for myself and give this to my husband to use.
