As an actual guinea pig hide it isn't my first choice, because guinea pigs wee and poo in their hides, and that means you need an absorbent layer inside, unlike an open bottomed hide. I've found it hard to find something that fits well for that purpose. But if you already own guinea pigs you will know that even the tamest guinea pigs prey instinct is so strong they will bolt when you reach to pick them up, even if they are content to be held after you've finally captured them. This can be stressful for you and then as they run wildly around their cage. Thankfully, their instinct to hide is just as strong too, which is where this hidey serves its purpose. I remove my pigs open hides and tunnels leaving them only this one, and it makes getting them out to put in their run for handling and cleaning significantly smoother. I have found my guinea pigs have chewed this one, when they haven't chewed their Trixie hides, but that I think it will last a long time still. I found getting it closed and open again very tricky at first, but now it seems to click in with ease.

Guinea pigs love these. Arrive and are as advertised. Purchased some as spares too.

This is a good sized hut for my two male rats. I needed something plastic with a bottom, and this fits the bill fine! And it’s cheap, so it won’t be too devastating when they enevitably destroy it. It’s a little awkward to put togtether, but good that it comes apart. Mine missed the delivery estimate by 5 days, but did eventually turn up. UPDATE: I’ve had this nearly 2 years now. The rats did not completely destroy it, which is a marker that they’re happy with it, and don’t feel the need to ‘customise’ it. Max amount of rats I’ve had in this thing had been 3 girls + 1 boy. They love it.

I’m very pleased with this item, I was looking for a suitable house for my Syrian hamster and this item is the perfect size. Even though it’s for a guinea pig a on the slightly big size, there is a lot of room for my hamster to move around in. So much better than other hamster houses

This is a great little tub for ratties to snooze in. They like it cos they can all pile in on top of each other but there are also vents along the side for everyone to poke their noses out. Nice n sturdy and easy to clean.

Item was good but not really big enough for guinea pigs once you put bedding inside, I have four guinea pigs not one of them use the two shelters I bought. Probably suit smaller animals better.

Perfect for four rats male and female (not together obviously). My rat who is on her own also had one, but we fill it with loads of bedding so, she feels secure and not so alone (her sister died). The rats can stand on it with no problem, and it is easy to take apart to clean. Whilst apart, it does seem flimsy but once the lid is back on, it's sturdy again.

You may think this looks a little small, but even with padded liner the guinea pig can go in and turn around

Cette cabane style igloo, peu onéreuse, pour rongeurs est parfaite pour mon rat adulte (on pourrait y mettre deux rats), de plus, elle est clipsable car livrée en deux parties et elle a des aérations sur les côtés. Je l'ai reçu , par hasard, en bleu et cette couleur est très belle ! Cette maisonnette est plus hygiénique que celles en bois car entièrement lavable ! J'y rajoute quelques feuilles d'essuie-tout et mon rat file dedans sans hésiter.

Es una cueva perfecta para cobayas, se meten mis dos cobayas sin problemas. Se desmonta en dos partes y se monta fácilmente. Por ponerle una pega la entrada es pequeña y si metes la mano para sacar a la cobaya, mano y cobaya salen con dificultad. Es grandecita, la jaula ideal para que no quedara agobiante de espacio sería de 80 cm para arriba.

Das ist auch kein Problem weil man die beiden Hälften schnell zerlegt und abgewaschen hat . Da müffelt nix und unsere Ratten gehen sehr gerne dort herein . - Allerdings ist es bereits angenagt worden ............ aus dem Grund baue ich persönlich gerne Häuschen aus Sperrholz - das wenn es von den Tieren gegessen wird nicht besorgniserregend ist 🤔. - Nichtsdesdotrotz : erfüllt seinen Zweck und es kann nix dafür das die Ratten es aufessen - also 5 ✨.

Ho comprato questa casetta come riparo per il mio riccio africano. Prodotto molto buono, ben fatto, la plastica sembra resistente ed è inodore (per me importantissimo, in giro per negozi avevo trovato solo casette dall'odore di plastica sgradevole e forte). La casetta è composta di 2 pezzi, facilmente montabili fra loro ed è scoperchiabile senza troppa difficoltà nonostante i due pezzi si incastrino saldamente fra loro, il che la rende anche veloce da lavare (lo sporco si lava via con una spugnetta ed un po' d'acqua senza nessun problema). Le dimensioni sono perfette per piccoli animali come il mio riccetto, che la usa per dormire e per ripararsi di giorno. Prezzo tutto sommato medio basso, la consiglio.
