Fantastic monitor that reduces eye strain and increases productivity
Very good quality monitor from Dell that I ended up purchasing for my home office set-up after using a different model from Dell at my office. The curved screen reduces peripheral vision strain while working / surfing on the computer for prolonged hours. The resolution of this monitor is excellent, completely flicker free... Its extremely easy to set up (a one-person job really, unless you are looking to mount it on a monitor arm like me - then, you will need a second pair of hands), comes with 3 cables: a USB-C to USB-C cable which I have been using to connect to both my work laptop (windows OS) and my personal laptop (MacBook Pro) without any issues (one at a time), the second cable is to power up the monitor and the third one is a USB-B to USB-A cable to connect the monitor to a CPU I suppose... The instructions are very simple to follow - 1-page with pictures and clear labels for the assembly. The speakers of this monitor is not the best out there but certainly much better than what i had expected... I can run multiple windows of work files and/or surf the internet simultaneously... The 34 inch curved ergonomics allow for minimal footprint at home - which matters, especially in smaller configuration apartments like mine - you dont need to have two monitors side by side anymore, along with all the wires that come with that setup! Lastly, its equally good for streaming video content.. you can say goodbye to your second TV!! I am very happy with my purchase - it arrived the next day, in perfect packaging!

Great home office monitor
I'm really happy that I purchased this monitor. I work from home. This monitor makes it easy to switch from my work windows laptop to my home mac laptop. I connected to the mac using the USB-C port, and to the windows laptop using HDMI and USB-B. Using the hotkeys, I can effortlessly switch not only the monitor, but the keyboard, mouse, headset, and speakers between the two computers. My only gripe is the limited number of USB ports (2) for accessories. I have to connect the mouse and headset dongles to the keyboard, and the speakers to the bottom edge USB port. But it all works. Since the keyboard hub works, I've considered buying a slim USB hub to glue onto the back on the monitor to expand the port options. The resolution matches my other monitors, and the slight increase in refresh rate is nice. I'm a casual gamer and tend to play my favorite retro games from GOG. Nothing that would stress this monitor.

Great monitor and works with Ubuntu 22 &24
I already owned two of the 27" monitors of this series for my work windows 11 machine, So I decided to stay with same series for a 34" wide screen. Attached to my personal Ubuntu 22 laptop then later upgraded Ubuntu to 24. Monitor worked seamless with both versions, no drivers to install! 4K resolution makes everything so crisp and clear! I was worried about going wide screen that I would loose some vertical real estate, but the vertical is the same as the 27", about 14" of usable screen up and down. Absolutely loving this curved widescreen with Ubuntu for personal laptop. For work, I still prefer the 2 27" 4K monitors. I connect these monitors using the USB-C, so they keep my laptops charged while working, no need for a separate laptop power cord. I already had a USB speaker, so I don't use the monitor speaker, but I did test it and found it was adequate, but I do use a USB camera/mic connected via the monitor and that works great also.

Great Budget PC Monitor
I’ve been using the Dell S3423DWC for a little while now and it’s honestly an awesome monitor. The 34-inch curved screen looks amazing, super sharp, bright, and the colors really pop. The 100Hz refresh rate makes everything feel smooth, whether I’m working, gaming, or watching movies. The ultrawide format is a game changer for multitasking, and I love how clean the setup is with the USB-C connection. The stand is solid too, and being able to adjust the height and tilt makes it really comfortable for long use. The only thing I’d say isn’t great are the built-in speakers. They work fine in a pinch, but they just don’t sound quality isn’t there. Not a big deal though, since I usually external speakers anyway.

Look what Dell Did.
A fine monitor. I think it does more than I know but I'm very happy with it. Clear/ good screen size. Sound is just ok but I have my rig hooked up to a high end audio system.

4.5 stars because no ethernet integration and cheap stand
Great color, sufficient brightness, and overall image quality. The curvature is nearly perfect for comfortable ergonomic viewing distance. And the 3440 x 1440 pixel resolution (~3k) is perfectly ideal for the size of the monitor. No need to scale fonts and screen elements the way you would need to with a 4k monitor, which reduces the effective screen real estate of a 4k monitor anyhow. Higher refresh rate works well for gaming smoothly and without ghosting at higher framerates (if your graphics card is capable). The single USB-C connection handles both video and power delivery for laptops reliably, but probably still need laptop charger for gaming. I only wish ethernet was also integrated into this monitor and USB-C connector. The speakers are fine for business use, but as expected not great for fully enjoying music or gaming audio. The monitor stand has only height adjustment, no swivel or rotation. Still overall I love this monitor.

Great screen.
New to the curve screed world. At first I was not on board, now after a few uses, I am a huge fan. This set up is perfect for me for school. Split screed with the laptop is awesome. Crisp screen that you can adjust to the look you want. Only con is the speakers are not great at all. After checking all the settings. They are just not loud enough and I use the computer speakers. Outside of that I love it so far.

One, this is a BEAST of a monitor. It’s huge and honestly, I’m not complaining. Performance wise it performs well with gaming, office work & general viewing. Two, the size of it makes it look like you’re working in a theatre. There is plenty of work room for you to have 4 small windows open at the same time to better work flow for working or going to class at home. Three, graphics wise, it could be better but the picture options compensates well. Again I did buy a monster of a screen already & with the freesync I’m not complaining with the great productivity performance. Additionally the speakers does well enough. I did find that it’s a bit quieter when I’m on teams meetings during the day or generally viewing Netflix/youtube. Fourth, my gaming experience has no complaints. I didn’t find any flicker or delay. My PS4 pro is connected via HDMI 2.1 and damn, it does deliver. The wide screen ratio makes my gaming worlds so much more immersive and I’m spoiled! Yes there is a gaming version of this monitor so I might look into splurging into that as a second monitor & connect a sound bar for that theatre gaming experience. Lastly, I’m extremely pleased of this product. I have to say Dell set the bar well for an entry level monitor for your general use in home or office. As I mentioned, I’m thinking on buying another one for that double monitor action for the best workflow while working at home and the best gaming experience I’ve had so far. Finally, just get one. Yes it has quirks and such, but keep in mind this is just the beginning. Upgrade and research the next monitor for you while enjoying the spoils of what is here. Thank you Dell.

Looks amazing, great quality. The internal speaker is quieter than I'd like, but that's my only complaint!

I love this monitor. I love that the model I bought is height adjustable - in my photo I have it pushed down as low as it will go which makes it the perfect height for my workstation. It works perfectly with my Macbook as well as with my Windows work laptop. For some reason though it doesn't recognize my Macbook's input via USB-C so I connect it using HDMI. Oddly enough, I can plug my iPhone 15 Pro into the USB-C and it recognizes it as a valid input so I'm not sure why it doesn't pick up my Macbook via USB-C. This isn't an issue for me as I already had an HDMI cable laying around and had the "dongle" adapter for the MacBook. However this monitor doesn't come with an HDMI cable so keep that in mind if that's how you plan to connect it to your computer. It comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable, and a superspeed USB upstream cable but not HDMI. The monitor also does have built-in speakers but they sound like hot garbage. Compared to my Macbook Air's speakers they sound dull and muffled. Imagine putting a small portable Bluetooth speaker under a couple pillows and then sitting on it - that's how dull and muffled the monitor speakers are. But you're probably not buying this monitor for the speakers, so it's nice that it has them just in case you don't have any alternative sound output options. Overall, an excellent monitor and can easily be a great substitute if you prefer working with 2 monitors but only have room for 1.

Only been two days but am loving it! Finally could get rid of the wire clutter on my home office desk! This one monitor with its 32 wide curved fabulous screen helped me clear away the extra 2 monitors I used prior. The 4 window feature ( one of many options - dell arrange ) works as 4 screens in one - no need to turn my head to right & left to access the extra screen monitors! Efficient- smart looking monitor with user friendly control buttons. Came with two sets of cords of which I love using the usb c one to connect to my laptop for work & off work it projects my iPad screen with that usb without going through a big mission of unhooking bunch of wires etc. It’s heavy yes but assembly was easy & literally done within 5 minutes of unwrapping the box. Once assembled it’s convenient enough to move if you need to try on various tables or angles. Yet to test sound & full movie experience quality while projecting from pc or iPad … will update review to include additional pros ( no cons as such so far). Go on buy it if you are looking to have a cleaned up home office & can’t wait to get rid of that tangled dusty mess of meshed Wires around extra monitors adapters and what not. Dell delivers always !
