great gate opener with almost everything needed.
I ordered this to replace my ancient gate opener that is 10x the size of this one. first off i got to say this gate opener is tiny but packs a punch. it's able to open and close my iron gate without any issues. installation of this gate opener is a bit difficult as you will need to know what you are doing to get it installed. you might want to hire a professional to do the installation as you will need to drive some bolts into concrete and if this is not installed correctly, your gate opener might not work efficiently. this gate opener comes with 2 remotes, and a set of saftey sensors to stop the gate from pinching someone to it. the casing around the internal parts is made of plastic and the manual unlock for the gate is secured as you need a key (which is provided) to access it. the base is made of 3 metal plates bolted together which initially i thought would be flimsy, but once bolted down to the concrete, it is completely solid. it is nice that this gate kit comes with new chain and the linkage needed to combine the chains together. the wiring of the sensors and everything took the most time as i kept getting lost in the instructions and this would probably benefit from a youtube video that one could pause and resume as they do their own installation. in the end, the gate works well and the sensor has saved my car getting a ding twice already. the only think i wish this kit came with were wireless sensors as the ones it has are wired which means you will need to fine a way to snake the wiring to the central unit. in my case. i used the gap in the track to snake the wiring through and drilled a hole in the concrete as an exit point to the main gate opener.This kit is great and takes up a small portion of space compared to my old chunky gate opener so now i got more space i can utilize around it.
