I'll start off by saying that thee curtains are, indeed 100% blackout. I hung them them in a south-facing bay window and they work perfectly. We live in the desert where temperatures get up to 123 degrees. These help keep the room a little cooler but we also had our windows tinted which helped even more. I'm only providing that information to give you an idea. If you lived in an area that doesn't get as hot you may notice it has a minor cooling effect.These curtains will need to be ironed and you'll need to put some vigorous effort into this step to make them lay flat. I used a very hot setting with lots of steam and went through a lot of water to press out the wrinkles but it still wasn't 100%. However, that won't matter because, thankfully, in a week or two they seem to work themselves out and you'll have a wrinkle free curtain. I'm actually a bit shocked by some of the glowing reviews by people here who just tore it out of the packaging and slapped it up on a curtain rod. Most of these reviews are favorable but they almost deterred me from actually buying these curtains because I think what I see in quite a few of the photos looks horrible. So I wanted to provide my own review of what you can do to make these look really great. I put a large bath towel down on my kitchen island and used that as my surface to iron these flat.As you can see from my photos I have a pretty large bay window. The approximate measurements are 72" wide for the middle window and 34" inches each for the side windows. One pair worked well for the side windows but I used two pairs and doubled up for the center window to keep the ruffled texture consistent whether opened or closed. So I have a total of eight panels hung on three windows and am very pleased with the overall appearance.In order to close up all the gaps between panels (which I can't stand to see) I purchased this item recently and pressed it in place along the sides of all panels that I wanted to eliminate gaps from:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B092ZCHRDD?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1So far it's working very well but it's only been a few days.You'll also see that I used curtain rings to hang these curtains. I wanted a more high-end look by using curtain rings but instead of using the clips that clamp onto the curtain itself I bought some Stitch Witchery (also sold on amazon) and permanently ironed on curtain tape along the top edge so that I could install hooks to attach to the rings. You can see that in one of my photos. Everything hangs very nicely and I'm very happy with how it came out.I'm very happy with the end result. We love the blue color a LOT. It's hard to describe the color. It's a tad bit deeper and richer than a robin egg blue. I was a bit skeptical before buying thinking it might look like blue jean fabric but the visible tweed like texture to the fabric makes it look a lot more high end. We may buy more curtains in other colors if they work with our color schemes in other rooms. I highly recommend these.

These curtains are thick and truly blackout. Very nice, thick material. Definitely getting a good product for the price. Definitely recommend and will buy again.

The media could not be loaded.  I love these. They are good quality curtains a beautiful color. Love the top of rod where they have that ruffled look. They are light colored beige but actually blackout the room!! Would recommend having white see through curtains on the outer corners of the windows and the blackouts on the inner, to make sure you can have a bit of light on the sides come in when needed and have the middle blocked off. They’re amazing!!!

These curtains block a good amount of light. A bit of light still peaks through since we put the rod right around the window. If you want no light at all I would recommend putting it closer to the ceiling and a little wider to block out everything. To be fair our windows are huge so these curtains did a great job.they were wrinkly but it does not bother us. We would need to steam them in the future.

Drapes look very elegant & they are substantial and darken the guest room very well from the street lights. I did not steam them, so folding wrinkles remain, but they are minor- overall, the fabric looks smooth and the price was great. I imagine that many people buying drapes for a new home- as we did- are on a tight budget. Our old curtains were not long enough for the tall windows we love in our new home.However, I thought the reverse was light colored like the drapes, and that was not the case: it is a light black. Our condo HOA requires light colored curtains, but it has not been a problem, as we keep them open during the day when the dark color would be visible. I do think it helps with the light blockage also, so we did not return them.

I ordered the oatmeal color and for being such a light color, it blacks out very well!! The dark backing to the product is very efficient and works great. Overall great product!

Okay so this is the black out I needed. We used this for my 2 year old's room and it's perfect! Lighting obviously goes AROUND the curtain but the curtain itself is black out and does not let any light through. thank you!

These keep out all the light, seem easy to wash and they’re made really well! If you’re looking for good quality curtains, I’d recommend these!

I bought these black out curtains and one of the curtains has a manufacture defect where the curtain rod goes in, the stitching is wrong and space is too tight for the curtain rod.Contacted seller and there is no response.

I've been looking everywhere for a while now to find curtains without grommets. These curtains are thick and block the light very well for when the sun gets too hot in our family room. We bought the beige curtains and love the texture and look. It completes the windows perfectly. The quality and structure of the curtains are amazing for how low the price is for a set of two panels. Super happy with them and would order these curtains again.

These really exceeded my expectations. The color is perfect and the light blocking is great. I have them on our South West facing window and I can definitely tell that they keep the room a lot cooler as well.

Esperaba menos para su precio porque hay otras opciones más caras, pero me sorprendieron, son delgadas para como bloquean de bien la luz, y la verdad es mejor que sean delgadas y ligeras, también bloquean un poco el calor, pero así como no lo deja entrar, también se encierra un poco la habitación. Lo único que no me encantó es la descripción del color, pedí beige y parece más bien una mezcla de beige y gris claro, para que lo tomen en cuenta.
