My dogs can go down the stairs with confidence, and I don't have to worry about dog hair getting embedded line i did with the carpet ones. These are awesome, easy to install, and you can only see them if you shine a light on them. They are discreet and work great. Even socks don't slip with them on.

After falling down my steep and treacherous stairs in my 100 year old house and seriously injuring myself, I bought these plastic treads on the recommendation of a friend. I didn't want something ugly. I'm not 100% happy with the look, but it's good enough. I didn't buy carpet treads because I have dogs who really love to pee on carpet but will leave hard surfaces alone. I liked the ease of install. They were very easy to trim around my 180 degree turn with no landing steps. It comes with a roller to make sure they are firmly pressed down. My friend said they are easy to remove with a hair dryer. I'm hoping they hold up well for a few years. I'll check back in and revise my review if they yellow, crack or slip off.

These have been a life saver for our 14 yr old elder dog. He slipped on the stairs and we needed something to help his grip and stabilize him. Our dog hasn't slipped since installation. You can barely see these on the stairs which I like and they don’t collect dirt or haven’t discolored at all. We have had them for a few months. I do wish that there were 2 more strips. I had to buy another brand to supplement this pack. Pros: • Stick well to tile floors • Roller included to secure strips easily • Pre-cut and peel-off design makes application simple • Texture provides great traction without being sticky • The house is safer for our 2 young kids, parents, and our dog. • Easy to clean and replace if needed Cons: • I needed 2 more strips. There weren’t enough in 1 package. Overall: These grip strips are an excellent value—easy to install, effective, and durable. Highly recommend for any household looking to add safety to slippery floors. This gives us peace of mind that everyone in the house is safer.

I purchased these for our back deck just before winter in 2024. I like the tread design as they provide traction, but as we have dogs, it doesn't hurt their paws. To place these is pretty simple, peel the backing and adhere to the surface. It does recommend cleaning and i would highly advise anyone to do that ahead of time. To get the most from this, take the roll out of the package and let it lie in a sunny spot to "flatten" out. It makes it easier to peel and stick. My only complaint would be these are not very effective for older decks. If you have decks/wooden stairs with weathering and cracking you have two options. Either consider a different product or help to hold these down with either trim or roofing tacks. Mine began to peel on the windy side as our deck stairs are 8 years old. Despite a good cleaning and ample time to dry, the adhesion broke down due to cracks in the wood where debris, water, and wind could seep. I have modified them by using roofing tacks, but not everyone will have that preference.

They are more transparent than you'd think. Easy to install and makes it much safer to go down painted stairs. They are grippy, but not like sand paper, just provide enough grip to make you feel more secure when walking up and down.

The only thing that kept me from giving them a 5 was a couple of them had lines through them that cannot be removed. I had more than needed for my steps but would like to have a couple more in case of damage. They definitely make steps safer and do not detract from the steps.

Easy to install, stay in place, almost invisible. Much better solution for my home than carpet tiles were. They don't collect pet hair like the carpet does and they are easy to clean. Highly recommend.

Great product (so far). Simple easy instructions to install. I used used a measuring tape and pencil to find and mark the center point on each step and strip (since the strips were 32" x 4" and te steps are wider). I particularly liked the little red tab fixed on the end of each strip (in the roll), made it easier to pull out the backing. Good adhesion which allows you to remove and re-fix if placed crooked or to take out air bubbles. It is almost invisible (which was desired) on indoor stairs. I feel it has the right amount of (non-slip) grip - especially bare feet or sock feet. Durability (indoors) is yet to be determined. Shall update review after a few months. I do not recommend using this on outdoor stairs. Don't know how it would hold out in inclement weather.

This product 100% does its job of not allowing for a slip on the stairs! Very effective (I used indoors on wooden stairs). However, I put one down a little crooked and hadn’t even pressed it down yet, sand I tried to lift it to reposition it, and it took the finish right off my stair. -_-

I need to cover the deck stairs for my 10 year old dog so she doesn't slip or get slivers on them. Easy to install and the backing lasts a long while before replacement needed. Plenty of extras in the package to re-cover when they eventually loosen due to the snow and rain.

Purchased these to help with our steps as they are super slippery, I didn’t want anything that would be of colour these are hardly noticeable! Very strong hold on them, don’t recommend putting them down if it’s something you’re worried about damaging. One got damaged and had to be taken off and it took some of the step with it! Other than that, our dog as well as us aren’t slipping on them anymore! Side note, we’ve had these on our steps now for about a year no issues. I vacuum and mop them and no issues!
