Great for the price
First thing to remember is you get what you pay for but being honest you do get more then enough at great price. It obviously cant compare with the famous branded pro cameras but i didn't need or want to pay for something like that. This does the jobs i want it for and does it well. The main reason for me was to use with my bike. The quality i get is really good and although a little unsteady its good enough for me. My daughter also used it on a family holiday where it was put through its paces in swimming pools and worn when hiking and at low light. It passed the test for her and she was very happy with the results. It comes with a selection of accessories for all occasions. Waterproof case is brilliant and has mounts for helmet/bases etc. Overall its a great camera and small enough to carry around. Battery life is good. Plenty of features like video/image resolution/stabilization etc. Recommended

Decent Action Camera but NO HDMI OUT
Great little camera, although please note that I purchased this initially because the description stated the unit had HDMI connectivity. It doesn't.

Honestly a Little Disappointing
People used to compare SJCAM devices to GoPro since they could perform the same function but at a fraction of the price. The price differences are now even larger. However, whereas GoPro cameras produce amazing footage, at least with this particular model - SJ6 Pro, I feel like the image quality is lagging. Nowadays, with many Gopro 'copies', it is more accurate to compare this to those rather than the original Gopro series.Initially, I was very impressed with the overall package - the unit didn't feel very cheap, and there were nice accessories, including the required microSD card. However, looking back at the footage, I found that the footage didn't look like 4k, but the colours were also disappointing. Looking at videos online, I found other people have the same impression. This was made worse when I tried to record a beautiful fireworks display. Granted, it was very dark, but regardless, I found the video appalling. There was no vividity to the colours and the image quality looks like it's 480p. Yes, it does look much better in daylight, but if I were to describe the quality, I'd say it's just a little bit better than most consumer car dashcams you buy from Amazon or elsewhere. To make things worse, the audio clipped during the display, whether from the fireworks explosions or loud music (bass) playing in the background. I'm not aware if there is a way to adjust the gain, but I would have hoped there would be a similar function. Am I asking for too much here? I'm not sure, as the price is considerably lower than a GoPro (but more expensive than alternatives).Overall, if you need a camera that records without worrying about losing too much money if it gets damaged or lost, this does the trick, but I wouldn't fall for the marketing in the listing or their website.

A very well made budget version action camera
For a budget price action camera this is as good as it gets, comes with 64GB micro SD card and a lot of action camera accessories for different shooting environment. It is not a waterproof action camera and it comes with a waterproof cage for taking video under water, the design of the cage has improved a lot from previous models where there is now a lock on the door and the buttons can be easily pressed yet will not jam the camera inside and maintain easy access. The front selfie screen is a nice addition to any action camera, taking selfie and videos can now be done without another person help. I can check if I am in the middle of the frame by looking at the small screen. There can only be one screen active and to switch between you just press and hold the OK button for 3 seconds. The EIS (video stabilizer) is really good at stabilizing hand held shakes, there is a lot less distortion and wobbles from processing. A big improvement from the last generastions of SJCAM.The only downside of this SJ6Pro is the low light performance, this action camera and others suffer the same limitation of small sensor. It does need a lot of light to create detailed 4k videos, I was disappointed at the low light performance using it as a dash camera. At night the only usable footage are when slowly driving through a well lit street, otherwise everything is blotchy despite the video format is 4k.

Very disappointed
The media could not be loaded. At first, I was really excited to use this dashcam but as soon as I started recording a video I realised that something was wrong with it. Every time I record a video there is a very weird noise coming from the speaker and can’t find a way to stop it. I tried changing the video settings and resolutions but the noise won’t stop. The camera will work fine for photos but it won’t serve the main purpose which is video filming.I really like the design with the 2 screens and the touchscreen functionality for the main one and all the accessories included which will help you mount it wherever you want. Still, I’m really disappointed by the video recording issue.Image quality: It’s good and will do the job but not the best if there’s not enough light.Video quality: It’s definitely not 4K as advertised by the seller. Looks like 1080p and has decent video quality.I would not recommend it.

Suits my needs perfectly
I got tgis for my bike. It's my first action camera so didn't know what to expect but I'm pleasantly pleased. The camera is really good. The picture quality is to me excellent but then again it's my first one so I have nothing to compare it with. The quality is very good also. It actually feels quality made.It appears to have everything you need to start you off in the box. There's nothing more I needed in order to use it on my bike. As I get more experience with action cameras I might find I want to expand but for now this is ideal for me as a beginner.
