These mandrels run almost perfectly true barely a twitch on the dial indicator when I checked them on the lathe! These have the 3/8" step on the mandrel side of them, other brands have the step built into the screw, this part of the problem with other brands and can cause a wobble.I had purchased another brand and it was .030" out and wobbled so badly it was unusable, THESE ARE GREAT!

Appears to be a normal mandrel with the addition of wrench flats for easy assembly. Fits cutoff wheels with a 3/8" ID. Good value for occasional use.

Screwdriver slots tend to stip out very easily. That is why most sets include multiple screws. No need to worry with this item. I used my 1/2” wrench from the get-go and it worked flawlessly.

so, first and foremost, im sure most people here are looking to use this with rotary cut off tools, but my use is different. I have a small hobby CNC mill setup, and i needed something to chuck slitting saw blades into. I put this in my mills headstock with a 1/4" er16 collet, and measured the runout with a test indicator. Off the outer edge, i was getting 0.025mm (about 1 thou), and the bottom surface that would be clamping the blade had a bit of wobble on the test indicator dial, but less than 0.005mm. So, for what im working with, this is more than fine. for a rotary tool this is exceptional.I also love the flats on the screw so that you can use pliers instead of a flat head screw driver

This is a great product design which comes in handy with heavy duty usage. This fits the Dewalt Pneumatic Die Grinder (DWMT70783) like a glove. I would recommend this quality product.

Nice straight and true shaft to keep my M12 die grinder cutting discs running with zero wobble.

This works in Dremel, RotoZip and Air Grinders with 3/8 collets. The center hole take polishing, cutting and other miscellaneous attachments. Kudos.
