Excellent Patio Heater — Powerful, Stylish, and Reliable
The East Oak 48,000 BTU patio heater has exceeded my expectations in every way. Assembly was straightforward, and the build quality feels solid and durable. Once fired up, the heat output is impressive — the 48,000 BTUs easily warm a large outdoor space, even on chilly evenings. I really appreciate how evenly it distributes heat, and the adjustable settings make it easy to find the perfect comfort level. The ignition is quick and reliable, and the safety features give extra peace of mind when operating it around guests. On top of great performance, the heater looks fantastic. Its sleek design adds a modern touch to the patio and blends well with any outdoor décor. Overall, this heater is powerful, efficient, and well worth the investment. It has made our outdoor gatherings far more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Better than expected! A Gem!
It was relatively easy to put together as the instructions are fairly well written. I (having to wear reading glasses) had to use a magnifying glass to double-check the direction of the bolts and nuts in a few spots. It took me about an hour by myself to assemble. Now for the quality: Everything is of very acceptable quality and the assembled heater really looks GREAT! (We have the black). Tank installed now and it works perfectly. I particularly like the access holes in the base that allow you to easily turn the gas tank on and off. They are also the way you lift the base cover to install/change the tank. Very well done East Oak. I will look at your other stuff now (I did get the cover for this heater already).

Amazing quality for m m
This thing is awesome! We’ve had it for about 2 years and every time we use it, we’re reminded how great it is. It’s super easy to assemble and if you’re willing to work hard enough, it will fit a 30 gallon LP tank. You can comfortably sit 10 feet away from this thing and still feel the heat. Sitting right underneath is perfect. If I were smart enough and not accident prone with power tools, I’d build a table to fit around it and use it for outside entertaining. But, it works perfect for sitting out and handing out candy on Halloween or sitting out on the deck or porch on a cool night.

Astonishingly Effective
I acquired this device due to my residence in Florida, where its frequent use is unlikely. However, it provides a valuable utility when hosting outdoor gatherings in cold weather. The assembly process was straightforward and devoid of any complications. Recently, I had the opportunity to utilize the device more extensively. Notably, it generates a substantial amount of heat. One user reported that one side of the device emitted more heat than the other. I attributed this observation to the positioning of the heater on the lawn, which caused the device to tilt unevenly. Consequently, the fire may have shifted to one side, resulting in a temperature difference. In summary, I positioned chairs around the device and, at the highest setting, it effectively provides a gentle warmth that can be directed towards those nearby. Standing directly next to the device on the highest setting intensifies the sensation of heat.

Very nice heater but with only one down side..
I would have given this heater a 5 start review. It went together very easily (as long as you follow the instructions of course) and started right up after I leak tested it. Now the reason I am not rating this 5 stars is color. The main reason we bought this one is the photo's appear to show a white set of bases. My wife is quite sensitive to color, being an artist, and really for sure did not want black and was not really happy with all the other shiny silver/stainless steal ones on amazon. Low and behold we see this picture and think wow white... buy it!! Of course after I get it assembled (the last steps are to put on the bottom panels) I find it is silver. Looking very closely at the pictures I can see it was in a room being photo'ed with a bright white back-drop so it looked white :-( It is lovely with the rippled sides and we will test it out the next few weeks here in Florida, but I am quite disappointed that I was fooled into thinking I had snagged a white heater ... we probably would have bought this one anyway from all the choices, I just would have liked to know that it *was not* white!!

Heat your deck
Have to say it’s a really nice heater. Tall for sure. Maybe to tall. Especially if trying to put a cover on it. After installing on deck and lighting it have to say it’s got the right amount of heat. I added a heat shield , which was a pain in the ass to put together but works well non the less. Will see if it holds up to cold weather here in the north east. Stainless steel features and looks good too. Installed in no time, directions were good too. Now let’s see if it has the guts to work its magic. Time will tell. Follow up coming.

Puts out a lot of heat
I set this up in my pavillion to keep me and my family warm when cooking in colder weather. I grill year round and wanted something like this. I got 2 on sale and theu work awesome. Set up was easy and it is simple to use. If you want a good umbrella heater for a great price, this is it.

Easy Assembly And Keeps You Plenty Warm
Didn't arrive when promised but still fairly fast. Bought this based on customer reviews and price point. Our 18 year old patio heater finally bit the dust. I was going to buy another identical heater but the same model had gone up in price 4-fold. This heater is favorably reviewed for the most part and can't beat the price. It was shipped via USPS which is one negative. Amazon should have never cut ties with UPS. The box was large and heavy. Once I unpacked the box, all parts and hardware were enclosed. Very good assembly instructions and assembly went smooth and quickly. The listing stated 5 second ignition and yes, it lights up right away and then keep the control knob depressed for another 30 seconds before adjusting the heat control and in a minute it was glowing cherry red and throwing off some serious good heat. Another negative is the blue heat shrunk film applied to protect the heat reflector. All the sections are individually wrapped in this film. It has to be removed. It was super difficult to remove it. I finally grabbed my heat gun and warmed the film slightly and it came off easier but still a pain. Removing that film cost me about 20 minutes of assembly time. And so far, the last negative is the company web site won't let me complete product registration for the warranty. Still working on that one. All in all, Assembly was easy, I feel I got the best bang for my buck and at 31 degrees up here in Arizona's high country it keeps us real comfortable. As far as propane usage goes, I've ran the heater for an hour give or take over 4 separate evenings and so far the tank feels like it still has at least one or two evenings on the front porch before I'll have to swap out the tanks.
