I have had a long battle with my very thick, long, mostly straight sometimes wavy always frizzy hair. I have been told i have very thin strands, but a whole lot of them. When i let it air dry, it gets so frizzy that I’ll only wear it up in a clip or messy bun, not even a ponytail. I’ve spent all of high school, college, and grad school straightening it because I didn’t know how else to deal with it, but now that i’m married with a child I just don’t have the time. I’ve been searching for products that will allow me to avoid any hot tools and styling. I’ve tried tons of shampoos and conditioners and recently gave up on the idea that they could ever make a difference. On a whim, I decided to splurge and try this one, with the matching conditioner, and I actually notice a big difference in my hair after just air drying! Not only is it less frizzy, but it is also somehow softer and less dry looking. Is it perfect? No, but this is the very first product I’ve ever tried that has made a real difference. I feel like with a little argon oil and the right smoothing products, my hair could actually be tamed enough for me to wear it down after air drying. Also, I feel like the shampoo actually completely rinses out, unlike other products that leave a residue. It’s expensive, but it’s definitely worth a shot if you have thick untamable frizzy hair like mine! I’m planning to try the antifrizz spray that goes with it to see if it gets even better!

This shampoo and conditioner is the good stuff, but you need to know how to wash your hair. I saw another reviewer say it left their hair dry like straw on the ends. That person was definitely doing something wrong.You only need to shampoo your roots. Use less than you think you need. Use just enough to clean the greasiness from your roots and then rinse it out. Do not shampoo all of your hair, or you will strip out the oils needed to keep your hair shiny and healthy.You only need to condition your ends. Use less than you think you need. If you get conditioner in your roots, it will build up on your scalp and your hair will look greasy and weird.Most importantly, DO NOT wash your hair every day. Unless you have an extremely oily scalp, you should only wash your hair every three days or less often. See how long you can go until it starts to look gross.If you use this shampoo and conditioner as described above, your hair will look so good. My previously frizzy hair now air dries beautifully in large, lovely curls. I love it and will continue to buy and hide every time we have guests, because it is expensive.

Product is great; however shampoo leaked out into protective? plastic bag it was in, which also leaked (had a hole in it) out all over inside envelope ; clearly should have been sent in a box!

I've been using this product for a very long time, since Jennifer Anniston marketed it and absolutely loved it. It always made my hair feel so clean and would lather as it should. However, I had to switch to another seller since my prior no longer had it available. This is the first time I've use this seller and I have to say, I'm very disappointed in this product. I don't know if it's been tampered with but not only did I pay more, it smelled and felt the same but I could dump the whole bottle on my head and still not get it to lather nor feel like I had anything on my hair at all. I could not clean my hair with this. It was very disappointing. I've heard about having to watch out for products on Amazon due to tampering and I have to say that this is the first time I've had that issue and I see why. It's an expensive product and I don't think it's just worth the cost anymore. Maybe it's the way the manufacturer has cut costs but I'm no longer a fan. :-(

I can tell this shampoo cleans my scalp well and it feels cleaner for longer which is really nice for someone with an oily scalp and fine hair. However, this shampoo and conditioner makes my hair frizzier than it was. Even after blow drying and styling my hair is puffy and doesn’t hold a curl or stay straight. It looks like I just spent a day in the humidity, rather than protecting from it.

After several cervical spine surgeries left me with limited wrist strength, it became a dreaded chore and literal physical pain to hold my arms over my shoulders to wash my hair, much less bend my neck to rinse suds out that seemingly take forever with most brands.Living Proof is the only shampoo I’ve found that I can lie in the tub wash my hair and rinse it out while it rinses itself clean with minimal effort from me. My spouse helps on occasion, but when I’m really hurting and just want a quick wash and rinse with little effort, this product works AMAZINGLY with my Invisible illness and chronic challenges.I’ve even shared the info with my GP for her other patients who have similar troubles with independently washing their hair. Def my GO-TO!!

I love the Living Proof products. They are a bit expensive, but last a long time and do what they advertise! I keep coming back for the quality!

Too expensive. But didn’t really do much. It did make my hair a bit smooth. But I wouldn’t call it worth the price. I believe you can get better quality product for cheaper price.

I purchased this item for a vacation to combat the frizz from humidity. It didn’t make any difference.
