Hello Again Am! You may recall that Manhattan Toy has procedural oversight to ensure our products meet or exceed the arduous US CPSIA and global regulations for children's toys. From our authorized third-party testing lab, our production samples of this toy cleaning set passes EU BPA restrictions (but no part of this collection is intended to be mouthed), EU Azo dye analysis of textiles’ restricted amines test, 3 different EU tests to detect formaldehyde, numerous CPSC tests for lead over 40 ppm, and California and CPSIA prohibition of phthalates. The clear coating on the natural wood is a transparent resin approved for kids toys as well as the green, blue and orange resin coatings on the other accessories. Thanks for your inquiry!

Hello Am, our Pretend Housekeeping Cleaning Set has been created with a combination of natural solid pine and teawood for the cleaning accessories and plywood for the base. While there are no primary plastic parts, the graphics are a heat-transferred resin. You can take comfort in knowing that Manhattan Toy has procedural oversight to ensure our products meet or exceed the arduous US CPSIA and global regulations for children's toys.
