One out of three hinges were completely useless. It will not move at all. they also seem cheaply made and not likely to last very long.

The media could not be loaded.  I was able to quickly replace my broken patio door/storm door hinge using this product from PalpitateC. After completing my install, here are my thoughts:*Most importantly, everything fit perfectly. I assume there is quite a bit of standardization when it comes to these parts, so maybe it's not such a big deal, but it fit as it should. Not having to run to the hardware store or return these to Amazon is a relief. Buying home repair products online can always be hit or miss.*I was able to use a 9/32 inch drill bit to install these screws thru the hinge and into the frame. I created new holes instead of reusing the existing to ensure it was attached to the frame good and tight.*I am not going to win an academy award for my camera work...but I tried to record one of my screws going into the door frame....each took about 5 seconds, as soon as I applied enough pressure, they would go in just fine.*The hinge itself, is a little disappointing. It's really lightweight. I am deducting a star as a result; I am not sure how long this will last.*The package comes with 3 hinges, so if you got this to repair a door, you'll be lucky enough to have a couple extra you can throw in a parts drawer. Given that this isn't the sturdiest hinge I've even seen, I may need one of these to fix this new hinge sometime in the future.*The paint on the screws flaked off as they were screwed into the frame. It didn't come off just on the pressure points, but everywhere too. Seems to be some type of defect in the painting process. Not a big deal, but definitely a little annoying.Bottom line....it fits and it works, but not super high quality.

I purchased these hinges thinking they were for a wooden storm cellar entrance for underneath a home. It ended up working out anyhow. I was needing strong hinges to connect a hinged hoop house.They could be less flimsy, but I believe what made them work is the many holes for the screws; there are 7 total for each, two in each end that secure one side and three in the middle to secure the other side.
