Use this a lot. It’s good. You need to get it hot before hand by adding hot water. Then screw on tight. Only negative is sometimes it’s hard to unscrew as once the inside starts to cool it creates a suction action which my daughter needs to ask a teacher for help with at times if it’s gone too tight.

Lo uso para fruta y la mantiene todo el día fresca, desde 8 am hasta 9 o 10 de la noche. El color es un rosa muy lindo y las formas tienen relieve que no se aprecia muy bien. Ya lo he usado un tiempo y no pensé que se mantuviera fresco tanto tiempo, me sorprendió y lo recomiendo ampliamente. Es algo pequeño pero sirve para guardar comida tipo snack.

My 9yo says her lunch is still warm from 6:30A.M. to 12:15P.M. She isn't a big eater, but it holds enough to full her up (ALMOST HOLDS THE ENTIRE CONTENT FROM A RAMEN CUP NOODLE with the required amount of water). It easily fits in her lunch bag with a water bottle, box of kiddies juice (200ml) and other fruits and snacks. She has little or no difficulty opening it. It has been used 1 or 2 days per week in the last school year and still looks like new.

Everything was great until this week. We had our jar for about 2 months and used it about 3 times a week. We love the color and the inside capacity. However My child had mentioned the food smelled and tasted “funny” (she was saying this for about a week) and she had mild stomach discomfort before we realized what was happening. What I found out: While washing her jar after school this week, I noticed that there was liquid in the lid, I shook out the lid bit to see if I could get the liquid out. The lid fell apart, which I'm sure that wasn't suppose to happen, and I was shocked to see all the old food residue, stains, and a strong odor inside the sealed part of the lids polyurethane foam internal insulating material, which can trap bacteria, grow mold and leach chemicals when wet or heated. It seems water from handwashing and food from soups/sauces were getting trapped inside the sealed lid which is very concerning seeing that trapped liquid was leaking back into fresh food. This was unexpected for a food container. I stopped using it for safety reasons after realizing this. Beautiful design, but the lid construction makes it hard to keep truly clean for everyday use.
