Storm glass weather station Size: Large(7.68”H X 4.13”W) This storm glass needs to sit in your house for 24 hours before it can make any predictions. It’s recommended that you keep this glass out of direct sunlight and also placed in an area where it can’t be knocked over. I posted a couple images on how it makes predictions. My personal weather reading this morning says that it’s gonna be windy. It does happen to be windy right now. I can’t say if all of its weather predicts are accurate because I just got it. However, it is cool to see the flakes that have formed in the glass. It’s aesthetically pleasing to me.

This is the neatest little weather station thnat coincides with the current weather and forecasted weather. It is packed beautifully and safely in a nice box that would be great for gifting. It includes a little story about it's origins and instructions on how to read the unit. Great gift for office or anyone.

I received my storm glass with a huge hole in the bottom n all the fluid leaked out into the packaging it was delivered in I would like a refund without having to return said iten

I am always looking for something unique to add to work desk at work. Seeing this teardrop weather station was a no brainer and I had to have it. It comes well packaged so even if it is tossed around during transit, it will most likely survive to your doorstep. The glass is nice and clear and the material inside has a snow flake consistency or appearance. The base is pretty bland and nothing special to look at. Would be easy to paint to make it more personal. During transit, a lot of the filament material got wedged at the tip of the glass where it is thinnest. I tried shaking and rocking the water inside but it appears stuck, not a big deal as it is only a small amount. In a well regulated climate, you wont really see any change. It has sat at my desk for a week and looks the exact same as when I originally set it up. I am sure if it sat near a window or in a lesser climate controlled area, you would notice the effects more. Neat piece to add to your desk. Quality made and unique. Base is boring to look at.

I thought this storm glass weather station was so cool! I've never seen anything like it, not only is it super cute on my shelf, it's supposed to be able to predict the weather. It let's you know when it's supposed to be cloudy, rainy, sunny, stormy, etc! It comes with a booklet that explains it perfectly. This is a great item to just have and also a great way to teach your kids something cool at the same time. Highly recommend!

This storm glass is a fun and intriguing conversation piece. Everyone who sees it asks what it is. The crystals do change with certain conditions, but it is difficult to say how accurate the weather predictions are. The printed booklet that comes with the storm glass has very small text, so I had to search online to find out what the different crystal formations could mean regarding the weather. Overall, this is a very nice piece. It is well-made and looks great on my desk. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a unique and interesting conversation piece.

So far I haven’t seen a lot of change in the storm glass, have only had it out for a week or so. Initially all the crystals/sediment were stuck floating in the top of the bottle for a few days with no change. I read online how to reset it and now i have seen some changes in the crystals now. It does need a better info sheet showing what the changes represent weather wise but you can also find them online too

Had to send first one back because the crystals would not settle. Second one was better in that regard, but it still fails to accurately indicate the weather. It looks like the crystals have frozen together in the bottom. It's an interesting item to display, but it fails at its job.

Useless

A été offert à la fête des pères et n'a absolument pas "changé " à l'intérieur. Aucune prédication météo fiable. Il est bien resté en place depuis plus de 10 jours. Très déçu

I've purchased two of these 1st was fine this was a birthday gift I gave to my friend once she opened cellophane this morning the box fell to bits and this is what we found and apparently I've missed the window to return gutted!!! And not happy 😪
