Excellent product
I bought 2 of these in Twin size and 1 in queen size for the beds in my newly redecorated guest rooms. I didn't have access to the beds before I ordered because we were painting, etc. When I set the beds up and measured from the top of the boxsprings to the carpet and then saw that the length of these is 14", I started to process a return thinking they'd be too short. After looking on Amazon and elsewhere for longer bed skirts and finding nothing as nice or as inexpensive, I thankfully decided to take these out of the package and put them on the beds to see just "how bad" they looked. They don't go all the way to the carpet, but they're long enough that they look fine! I helped that the part that sits on top of the boxspring is a about 1/2" bigger on each side, giving an additional 1/2" to the length of the skirt. I ran them through a cold water rinse and dry on low and they came out almost completely wrinkle free -- enough that if I wasn't being so picky I could have put them on the beds "as is". Seeking perfection I gave them a quick ironing on low heat and sharpened the creases on the pleats. They ironed up perfectly! I couldn't have asked for anything more. The fabric is substantial (unlike the microfiber fabric on so many other bed skirts an overall these look WAY more expensive than they were! Would definitely recommend them and will buy these again if I need bed skirts in the future!

Quality
Good quality. I needed to iron it to get it to hang down straight. Just don't iron the platform material though. I got the Navy Blue color; the platform material is white. Nice color. It's a mid-tone darkish blue.

Great quality for the price-- nice thick fabric and rich color
I was a little concerned about ordering this based on some of the negative reviews, but I'm so glad I did. The bedskirt arrived quickly and was packaged well. It definitely had to be ironed, but I don't ever expect bedding to come out of the package ready to put on the bed. The fabric that hangs down is nice and thick-- much higher quality than I was expecting for this price. There are pleats for each corner and also along the center of each edge. The white fabric that goes under the mattress is not made of paper as some reviewers stated, but polyester. Sure it's cheap and flimsy, but it doesn't show. It's the perfect length for a standard queen mattress and box spring, and the color is a nice rich navy blue. I didn't wash it as it will just be going on the edge of the bed, but the directions do say to wash on the gentle cycle and dry on low. I would probably let it air dry or dry on very low heat. The seams look like they're sewn well and should hold up to occasional laundering. I'm not sure why so many people had problems with this. If you do have a problem, just contact Amazon Customer Service. They always respond right away and will fix the problem to your satisfaction.

Looks really good, with some work . . .
This bed skirt was the closest I could find online to what I wanted, so I thought I would try it out. The price was good, after all.I am pleased with the final result, but it took some work to get there. Read on for real life tips.First, I ironed the damn thing, using plenty of spray starch and pinning the pleats in place so they would hold while I adjusted it on the bed. It was a trick to iron because of the size: after ironing one section and repositioning to iron the next part, the first part would get wrinkled again -- but I digress . . .Here is the trick to getting it on your bed: you must remove the mattress entirely. With a king mattress, this means enlisting the help of another woman. Do not call on a man. He will complain, and every lift motion will be accompanied by a loud groan. Not worth it.After the mattress is removed, adjust exactly where you want the bed skirt to lie, carefully watching how far it extends to the floor, that the corners are exactly where they need to be, etc. Then, use a MASSIVE number of upholstery pins (available on Amazon, thank God). Be aware that you should not, as God is my witness, try to pull and drag the bed skirt around by the flimsy top part. It will fall apart like that first cake you tried to bake when you were twelve. Also, I neglected to mention that you should not, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, iron the top part while pressing the bed skirt. It will melt away as if it never existed.Once you have the bed skirt exactly where you want it, call your female helper back into the room to help lift and place the mattress back onto the bed. Do not drag it. Do not budge it. Do not shift it. See above notes regarding the flimsy top part of the item.Special problem I had: The bed skirt was actually too wide for my bed by a couple of inches, making it drag on the floor a bit on each side. I pulled it all toward the center and upholstery-pinned it in place. This worked pretty well, but throws off the center pleat. I ironed the crap out of the pleat, but now it's just a ruffle. Oh well.
