The HornBlasters 3-Gallon 7 Port Air Tank will work fine for my application, installed to the frame under my truck bed. I'll be using it as a reservoir for a small compressor for the occasional tire and for my air shocks.I had an old HF "hot dog" tank I was going to use, but the dimensions of this one worked better. This one also feels a little heavier-built, but it's still not appropriate for industrial applications as there's no ASME certification. There is the manufacturer's name, working pressure (150 PSI) and part numbers on the tank, which is more than some cheaper tanks have.The only minor complaint I have is that the threaded bungs on the ends are not parallel to the tank centerline, but go off perpendicular to the rounded surface where they're welded.My opinion of this tank is that it's pretty good, but not as good as I expected for the price tag.

Unfortunately, my tank came damaged. And the threads are a little damaged from shipment. I think I can get a tap and clean the threads. It also arrived without any mounting hardware shown in the pictures but not mentioned in the ad.When ordering this, I could not find anywhere in the ad the listing of Max pressure or working pressure, however it is on the side of the tank. It is marked max working pressure 150 psi.There are seven ports on this tank and there are no plugs or connectors so be ready to have plugs for your unused ports. With seven ports that’s a lot of plugs.I ordered this to go with a 12 V air compressor made for airhorns light volume air use and smaller tires. This compressor did not give a duty cycle but said it was not for use with large truck tires. It certainly made the air compressor less usable for me since I would be using it on equipment and in the field. By purchasing this air tank, I greatly increased the usability of that air compressor. I believe if I leave this 3 gallon tank full that with the air compressor running, I should be able to reasonably air a large tire.The finish on this tank looks good along with the welds. It has a very sturdy mounting brackets. I will mount this in the back of my truck to the outside of the toolbox by the small air compressor for use in the field. I would order this again.

This is a very versatile tank. You'll need to have plenty of plugs on hand and do some work to plug the holes you're not using since the red plugs this comes with are just plastic dust covers that cannot hold pressure. I also like the two frame feet on the bottom that give this item stability even when not bolted down to protect the unit from scratches. My only issue is that the threads already seemed rusted when I got it, but I guess that's to be expected with carbon steel. So I guess I will have to be careful and use similar material fittings to prevent galvanic corrosion. Otherwise this is a perfectly decent air tank with proper threads.

This tank is actually made for installing an air horn in a vehicle, but that's not what I purchased it for. I periodically need air to blow out plumbing or electrical parts and hauling my big compressor up to the house sucks. I fill this bad boy up to about 135psi and it gives me enough air to do most of my household projects. This tank appears to be well made, all the welds look great and it has a nice paint job to protect it from rust. It has a bunch of threaded ports that can be utilized for quick connect fitting to hook up airlines to utilize this tank. Overall an excellent purchase.
