Great product

I have been buying these for over a year for my hubby. He had bold patch areas on the top of his head which now covered by tiny hairs .

I have been using it for a good 3-4 months now and i can see a good difference.

I love all of the Hims products! The shampoo really cleanses my beard and makes it look fuller

I should have read through more reviews on Amazon prior to purchasing. I went through the HIMS website first to see what their site "recommended" prior to turning to Amazon. I prefer to purchase items like this through Amazon because it is easier to shop in one place and customer service is usually very easy to work with. I noticed the product strength is only 5% on Amazon verses the HIMS site offering the 7% version of this product. I am fine with trying a lower percentage product to make sure I don't have any sensitivity issues. Hence my purchase through Amazon. Not to mention it was cheaper and arrived much quicker. All of that to get to my disappointment in the overall marketing and description of this product. I have noticed my hair is looking thinner and wanted to get ahead of potentially even thinner hair. Reading the packaging it states the serum is to only be applied to the crown/vertex of the head, for thinning hair at the top of the head, photo attached to this review for reference. Had I known this prior, I would not have purchased this product. This disappointment is specific about the serum. I used the shampoo for the first time today and noticed my hair feels thicker. The chemicals in the shampoo cling to the strands of hair making it feel much fuller and thicker. This was after just one application of the shampoo. I washed my hair with my normal Suave 3-in-1 to clean my body as a whole. Then I used the shampoo and left it lathered up in my hair for just over 2 minutes before rinsing it out. I'm not sure if it will make a huge difference in the long run, but in the meantime it has a fuller feel about it. That is exciting to experience after the first use. This is why I am giving this review 2 stars and not just 1.
