I have given this only a 1 star rating not because of its effectiveness but because of the quality of the product.Concerning its effectiveness the jury is probably out, I purchased this in May 2023 and think there was a degree of improvement with the pigeons although it by no means got rid of them totally (I know it says it takes time to be effective but this comment is based on having had quite a few months over the summer).But the product quality is poor.........after just a few weeks the hook by which you are meant to hang the device snapped off and now it has stopped working. I found it was full of water and having dried it out it no longer operates - well only when plugged in, relying on battery power only (which is necessary when it is in the garden) it doesn't work any longer.The instruction manual isn't great either.All in all, not great.

This is the best bird repeller that I have used. Since located no birds or animals have entered the area and this is without using the night light. I will definitely recommend this product

See many reviews slating these products saying they don’t work. I found they do work.As the end house pigeon used our roof as local toilet leaving a mess below. Since placing these deterrents around borders of our house the pigeons do avoid the area and we now have less mess. We do get the odd incident, but nothing like we used to.Also found this solution wasn’t an overnight success it took 2 weeks before it had any effect, something the instructions also state. You also have to experiment to get them in the right position which again was trial and error to get them in right locations to be most effective.If looking for instant solution this product not for you, but if have patience it t can be.The main negative I have about these products is they’re delicate and the switches are hard to switch on due to the water proof covering and location on back of devices.Overall happy with what they do, but you do need be patient with them as not an overnight success.

I can hear it and I can see it flashing at night, but I can also see the sparrows roosting in the wisteria where I do not want them so it is not really doing its job.

Hard to use and on and off switch crazy; you don't if it is on or off...waste of money.Made no effect at all....because you are never sure it was on!!Don't buy it customers..Don't sell it Amazon.. instructions unclear..

Fails to deter pigeons etc even when placed close to the bird table.

Easy set up and straight to work keeping the birds away. Only down side is the high frequency chirp every 25 secs

I've tried to use these things to get rid of pigeons nesting under my solar panels. They made no difference whatsoever. Absolutely none.
