Smaller than expected but seems to work!
I'm glad to have this for emergencies--either my own, or someone else's. I was surprised to see how compact this window breaker/seatbelt cutter is--but could have looked at the dimensions first. Either way it worked to quickly shatter the sample glass they included, so I assume it would do the job. Not sure how well it would cut a seatbelt--again, the small size might be an issue. For me, the only real problem is that there are no indicators outside that tell you which tool is located under which cap--you'd have to mark one side with tape to be sure. The caps fit tightly and take a bit of effort to remove.

Safety First!
Tested out w/ the test glass piece- Thanks for that BTW! That was easy to use. Got one for all family members, even the chillins in the back seats- Safety First! They adhere well & is positioned strategically in the event its ever needed. Gotta be prepared when carrying Precious cargo!

Faulty seal
Well I hope I never have to use this product to rate it but I was kind out out out that The o-ring that keeps the caps on broke the first time I opened it. Now the caps won’t stay on. I guess it’s no biggie since I’m only going to put it in my center console for “just in case”.

Instructions?
The instructions are on the back of the box (so not handy unless you keep the box in the glove compartment and remember to read the box in case of an emergency). The instructions for the safety hammer reads "use your head to gently press the four corners of the window. It can break the glass." I THINK it means to pull off the cover and then use the head of the device to press against the window, but I'm not going to just try it out and don't want to risk actually having to use it and discover that's not what was meant.

Small and functional
I can verify that this breaks glass. You simply press it firmly against the glass and a metal point comes out and pierces the glass. There weren’t good instructions but it was easy enough figure out how to use.I liked that it came with a sample piece of glass to test. However I made the huge mistake of doing it on my kitchen counter and the glass shot everywhere. Obviously this was my poor judgement but it should have come with a warning to do outside or wear eye protection.I hope I never need to use it, but it gives me piece of mind knowing it’s in my car. I can’t test the seatbelt cutter but it appears functional.

attractive design detracts from ease of use
The media could not be loaded. An emergency tool should be easy to find and easy to use when it is essential. The red color is helpful but the very smooth surfaces of the end caps and stiff connection to the main body of the tool make it difficult to access the hammer point or seat belt cutter, especially with wet hands. The spring-loaded hammer point is easier to use than a traditional glass hammer because it can be applied directly to the glass and it resets automatically. I tested it on wood since I wasn't going to try it on a window. It makes a pointed impact so it's likely it will break the glass. The seat belt cutter is sharp but the blade is very short so it will take a "sawing' motion to cut the belt and that required quite a bit of strength. The instructions need to be re-written because they tell you to use your head to press the glass.

Functionality
Good size as it is not too large. You can put it in your pocket or purse. Hope that it is never needed.

Does not stick!!
Was pretty excited to receive and install this product just for the adhesive part to not stick at all. I can’t even get it to stick for more than 2 seconds. I bought this product exactly for that reason and it does not work. Now all I have is a tube. Not impressed.
