Default factory max speed for this "BK29" model bike is 19 MPH.To unlock its full potential of 25 MPH:1. first, turn off the power display2. while holding the brake lever, twist the acceleration gear for 10 seconds3. turn on power (you've unlocked its full speed; there will be no beep or notification, just try riding it after)To turn on high beam headlights, you need to hold the plus button. (this was difficult to figure out!)I own another electric bike, but this one is so much cooler! This BK29 looks more like a motor bike than a bicycle.I love the look and feel of the large off-road tire; you'll want to inflate to 20 PSI (max)- Shift lever is a Shimano TX50- Derailleur is a Shimano Atlus- Power supply is 54.6V at 2A = 109 WattsCons:- Instruction/photos are terrible (watch their video instead)- May be difficult to assemble for someone who's never put a bicycle together before; there are rubber covers that you must remove in order for the tires to attach.- Lots of zip ties- I had to adjust the brake disc alignment- Had to go on a scavenger hunt for all the quick release pieces.Overall, this is the best bike I've ever owned. It's more fun than an electric scooter. It speeds up fast like a Tesla. I absolutely love riding this and it makes going places fun/convenient.

The bike lived up to my expectations. I was thoroughly satisfied with the purchase. The Hitway E-bike is everything the consumer should expect from a purchase. A quality product at an affordable price is hard to find these days, but the Hitway is a pleasant exception to the rule.I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable & sturdy electric bike at a moderate price.

Hi, its me again....if you know me, you know I have an unhealthy addiction to ebikes! LOLWe live in south Florida with so many beautiful trails.. I can't help myself! And honestly, they have great resale!!!This is my 5th Ebike purchase, 3rd off of amazon! And probably not my last! I've been recently swapping out my original ebikes- the swagatrons that were great as a beginner bike- they introduced us to the world of ebikes. We loved the fat tires, especially for the roads here in Florida. I sold 1 of the swagatrons to purchase this one.To start, assembly was about 30-45 mins. The tool they included with the bike was great. A def all in one! I am keeping this on the bike when riding in case of any issues.. Very handy. Longest part of the assembly was the front headlight. Took a while to realize I was installing it backwards. This bike came with a hand pump and cool bike lock that you can attach to the bike. I use my usb air pump for the tires.. much easier..Right out of the box the battery was fully charged which i was impressed with. I was able to ride 28 miles so far and still have great battery life. I was able to top out at 25 miles per hour. That's fast enough for the commute to the marina and back. The M7 screen allows for you to change the km to miles, lcd brightness, speed, etc. You can look online for a better explanation of all the options the screen provides.The comfortable seat and shocks make for a smooth and enjoyable ride, even on bumpy streets. The front and rear lights provide added safety, and the 7 gears offer versatility for different terrains. Overall, a fantastic eBike that combines comfort, performance, and safety features for an exceptional riding experience!So far very happy with the purchase. Will update this post on the overall battery life from start to finish.. says I can get 50-60 miles per charge.. So far im at 28 and doing strong.

My son rides his. This is a nice size for him. Very sturdy. Rides smooth. Not too heavy. Great choice for first time riders.

Owned our bikes for less than 6 months. Battery and screen do not work on one of the two bikes that we purchased. Customer service runs you in circles and is a total scam. Supposed to have a 1 year warranty on these, but you can't get any help. Don't waste your time on these bikes, you will be disappointed.

Would give 3.5 if an option.It is a good-looking comfortable bike and was not hard to assemble. Came well packaged.The only issue is I had to replace the rear brake within a few months of use by my Daughter after 3 months.The bike shop noted they use a lower grade for brakes. Makes sense as this bike is cheaper than others.My Daughter is enjoying this bike and it feels sturdy. She of course figured out how to "unlock" it to go 25mph.I would just say be prepared to spend a bit on repairs. The rear tire is showing quite a bit of tread loss unfortunately.

I ordered this electric bike having never ridden an e-bike before. I was a little nervous ordering one online, but I am so pleased with my purchase. It came well packaged and went together easily. The directions were not the best, but my husband didn't have any trouble. It rides really nice, and the pedal assist is amazing! The battery life is surprisingly good. We have done several rides around the 20 mile mark and still have plenty of battery left. Hills are a snap with the assist and I really like having a throttle, especially to get started. I am super happy with this e-Bike and highly recommend!

I have two e-bike’s already, they are too tall for my daughter she’s short at 5’2” this bike fits her good and very happy with the purchase, delivered in good shape, packaged great, rides & works great.
