Glerups Wool Boot Rubber Outsole Denim/Honey Rubber EU 47 (US Men's 13)

A wonderful colleague of mine suggested Gerlups to me since I have skinny ankles and usually need small leg warmers for my ankles. She said Gerlups leave sheepskin boots in the dust and other similar Australian brands making the same sort of boot. She was right! All winter I wear Gerlups when I am at work, at my desk speaking to and working with clients all day. It is good to be warm in the winter! Thank you, Gerlups! Tusen Takk!

Boiled wool-great! Comfortable warm, never smelly. Hole appeared after two years of pandemic wearing. Leather soles wear to a high shine - perfect except slippery on carpeted stairs, and wooden stairs-get one w rubber soles and you have the perfect slipper-wearing them right now in fact!

I ordered the slippers. Excellent design & materials but unsuitable for all-day wear. Right shoe, wrong style. Tried the shoes, then the boots.. I’ve worn the boots for six weeks straight. Better than barefoot. even the best ordinary shoes force me to walk unnaturally. Shoe people always said “it’s the way you walk”. I said “you aren’t designing shoes for the way humans walk”.The first few days were painfully tight. Considered returning them for the fourth time. Bought a size smaller than I require- like Birks, Glerups need time to mold to your shape. After that, it’s a warm hug. A giant, wool sock I can do the shopping in. Glerups made me WANT to wear shoes. If you tip your foot onto the side when you sit, you feel it after awhile, but Glerups don’t force my foot into unnatural positions or restrict movement. If you dance on your tile floors, these may be for you. Rubber soles that grip & flex just enough.They look amazing- the way shoes for human feet should look. No ornament, no excess, natural colors, comfortable materials. Ordinary shoes now feel like walking on vaguely foot shaped trays, bound to my foot by leather, cloth & chemicals. Haven’t figured out why more people aren’t wearing these or similar shoes, unless it’s the price or lack of support/stabilizing properties. If they last a year as my only footwear or two if worn indoors only after awhile, I’m okay with $81 a year.All that said, I’m not certain constant wear is healthy (we’ll see) and I want more sole under the outer heel.

Using as slippers/house shoes. Perfect for that.

I’ve been searching for the perfect slipper for a while, and I’m happy to say I found it.It’s warm, yet breathable.Comfy, yet supportive.I will never go back to any other slipper.

... I found some time ago that European sizes are more accurate, so when I have the option I go with the EU sizes. I did so this time as well. I wear a men's 13 in US sizes, but it is a little too big. A 12 is a little too small. EU sizes solve that for me in that EU 46 would be about a men's 12.5 if it were available , which most times it is not. I ordered the men's 46 here and it is, as usual, a near perfect fit. 1/8" either way would be too big or too small, my typical US size choices.The pair is a little pricey for house shoes, but the comfort level is easily worth the money.Mine seem to gradually conform to the sole of my foot and get a little more comfortable each time I wear them, but the interior doesn't pack down like I would think that a solid wool shoe might be inclined to do. This far into it, I am impressed. I don't know yet about longevity, and they are a little clumsy to get on, for me anyway, but I believe the comfort they offer on a cold tile floor in the winter is worth the price of admission if they only last one winter.

I got these for my significant other as a Christmas gift. I was afraid he might not use them, because he has no house shoes except his sneakers and boots. At first, he said he rotates his shoes, so he didn’t need to let them air out between uses. He tried them on and decided they are so comfortable and warm in the house. He wears them so much now that there’s no question he is happy with them. Turns out this was a leap into his uncharacteristic side that worked out great. He told me he is really happy with them, but the proof is that he wears them so often. Says they are great after showering, too. Unlike as pictured with the box, he wears socks with them because the idea of shoes without socks is verboten to him.

Perfect slipper with GREAT high arche support plus wide toebox for comfort! Love These SO MUCH had to get a second pair for outdoors too!! Hint - Get a shoehorn for EASY On!!!

Prices are eye watering for slippers (for us anyway) BUT you won’t regret it.Immediately comfortable, warm but not hot, they breathe so well.I have the slip on version which I regret (I wish I had the full ankle cover)Stunning and cosy, they’re built to last many many years.

They are on my feet right now! Ordered a pair for my mother and she hasn't worn anything else since she got them.

These are the BEST SLIPPERS EVER!They took some getting used to and a bit of time to mold to my foot. And the felt sheds a bit at first but they are seriously SO comfortable. They keep your feet warm, but not hot or too sweaty. I wear them throughout the winter and into the summer if my feet get cold on a cool morning.I got the rubber sole because I am notorious for walking around the yard in my slippers so didn’t want to destroy the leather solesWould 110% buy another pair

Zwischen September und April zieht meine Frau diese Hausschuhe quasi nur noch nachts aus - und wenn sie mal nicht im Homeoffice sein kann. Es fing mit den Glerups ohne Gummi-Sohle an. Das Modell allein war schon der Hammer. Sie war begeistert.Weil wir in Brandenburg wohnen und daher Sand und Schlamm überall auf dem Grundstück sind, war meine Teuerste natürlich zu faul, um z.B.. zum Vögelfüttern feste Schuhe anzuziehen. Deshalb musste das Modell mit der Gummisohle her. Und ist seitdem der Renner.Und ich muss sagen, die sehen in Schwarz fast wie Stiefeletten aus, nicht wie Hausschuhe.Nach jetzt drei Jahren geht an der Ferse die Naht auf - aber meine Frau sagt, das sei ihr egal. Sie will keine Neuen.Also: volle 5 Sterne müssen einfach sein, die hat sich der Hersteller wirklich verdient.Und unsere Tochter ist jetzt auch „drauf“…
