Took it out of the box yesterday after receiving it. I did 8 bottles last night with zero issues. Reliable and sturdy, does exactly what I needed.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:As described

I purchased this well over a year ago. Overall, it has held up well as far as the construction. The only negative so far is trying to find replacement glass bits to fit it. Since the glass cutting blades get dull with use.

Did not work for me. I tried over 10 bottles and only got one salvageable. I tried hot/cold water. Cutting the bottle as deep as the tool would let me. It kept trailing lines from the straight line I made.

Difficult to use. I tried cutting many bottles and using the ice cold and boiling hot method to get the bottles to separate but it never worked, probably because the scoring never resulted in a full circle. It was always a bit off when I came back to where I started

I bought this as a way to recycle/repurpose glass bottles. I've been reading & studying different brands for a while and I came across this one.I followed the instructions exactly as they were printed and it works flawlessly. In the instructions it says to start with boiling water then use ice water (repeat as necessary). I got to my second use of hot water and the bottle just simply seperated.The instructions also make mention to make sure the scoring line is straight and to ONLY score the bottle once. I may have went an inch longer than needed and when the bottle seperated, there is a small notch that is not perfect. I have used the provided sand paper and smoothed the edges on both pieces and I couldn't be more pleased.If you're on the fence on which brand to use, I encourage you to go ahead and buy this one because it's so simple to use.
