MaxMate Tri-Fold Truck Bed Tonneau Cover Works with 2019 Toyota Tacoma | Fleetside 5' Bed | for Models with or Without The Deckrail System

Bought for my 2023 Toyota Tacoma. Product is well designed and seems pretty durable (frame is solid even though cover is vinyl). Took about 30 mins from start to finish install.. Fits well and had hardware included for my existing bed rails. Will protect bed from weather and allow me to lock items in; however, if someone really wanted in they could easily cut through the vinyl. Good product for the price. Time will tell how well it handles the Arizona summer.

4/21/23 - I've had this tonneau now for 3 years and it has functioned perfectly. The color has faded a bit, but no tears, or warping or anything. No issues with rattling or anything during highway speeds. It's definitely NOT waterproof, water generally gets in through the 4 corners. It's been on my Tacoma for 3+ years, through all New England seasons. I would say that I do try to get snow off the tonneau cover as soon as possible, but at times there has been 1-1.5 inches of wet snow on the cover, and it hasn't bent or warped. I have swapped trucks now, so I don't have the Tacoma anymore. Still recommended. ------------------ Fit this to my 2020 Tacoma SR5, double cab short bed. Fit is fine, install was easy - for the Tacoma, only needed the included hex wrench and that's it. Although purchased from Max-Mate this is a Tyger branded cover. So you can read the positive reviews for the Tyger Tonneau cover. Only driven through city streets so far, no highway yet, but no rattles or sounds coming from the cover. Can't speak to durability, but i'm hoping to get at least 3 years+ use out of it. Recommended so far, based on my 1 week of ownership.

I’ve had this cover on my short bed 3rd Gen ‘19 Tacoma since October 2020 and it has held up nicely. No cracks or other issues. It leaks slightly near the cab but otherwise is a good value. Few things to note, the screws and nuts that are at each of the folds need to be tightened otherwise they will come out. I lost one already after about a year or so and another of the nuts just came off. Tighten them every 6 months with a Phillips head screwdriver and that should prevent and issue. The cover can get stained with tree sap so need to remove the sap quickly. Great product overall.

Got this 6 months ago to keep my bed dry and prevent rust on the exposed bolts and hooks and rails. Took like 30 mins to install the first time because I had to cut and place the sealing foam, then go inside the bed with this thing on it and see if there were any gaps, then repeat. Now it takes me like two minutes to remove and like five to put back on if necessary. Had this on my truck (2022 Toyota Tacoma 4door with the 5.5 foot bed) during Hurricane Ian. 60-80mph sustained winds in my area, 20+ inches of rain. Went out to check on it just after the storm out of curiosity and the inside of my bed was dry as a rock. 10/10 would recommend.
