Some discount tubes lose lumens quick, others just seem to be made of thinner glass, and others just do their job well. This is one of the last ones. The connectors are solidand I had none that were misformed and and got stuck in the tombstone of the light (the connector part of your ballast) I just learned the. Amena year ago so had to use it haha. Seriously these are a good option I installed a year ago d ran them pretty heavily as normal. What was not normal was none had gone out, none had serious discolorarion at the ends and my plants were only just starting to show signs of slowing due to light loss. For a 1 year bulb these are almost perfect and the price was right.

These bulbs burn out faster than a millennial that just got introduced to drugs.I always run oscillating fans under these lamps to prevent further heat build up. The filaments are cheap as all heck and barely last. Reminds me of the life of Apollo Horticulture bulbs when they were around. You get what you pay for.

Ok so these lights burn pretty hot I have them in a 8x 6 green house with the front completely open. It’s worked for me so far because I don’t have to burn additional heat lamps ( in winter) . But the down side is they dry out quickly. I’ve had 90 % success with my seeds ( credit to quality seeds, soil and good lighting). Just make sure that once your plants emerge adjust the height of your lighting. Would buy again so long as they last a few seasons ( 1st season with these )
