I used this just this morning on my whiter than white legs. After shaving and exfoliating, I applied to my legs and let it dry for a full hour whilst wearing a robe, before dressing. It was very easy to apply and just felt like a really nice moisturiser. I used my own tanning mitt (HIGHLY recommended for even coverage and not getting tanned palms). I couldn't really notice a difference an hour later, but now (four hours on) I can definitely see there is a VERY subtle change and my legs are now perhaps a shade and a half away from matching my arms (which are always darker!). There are no streaks whatsoever and no orange tinge. Using this means likely a few applications to build up the colour. But that is great for people who are nervous about using self tan themselves. Start low, and add as you please, with confidence there won't be an almost instant and potentially regrettable change in colour. I look forward to using this again tomorrow, to darken my legs just a touch more, and will continue to use until the sun properly comes out, at which time my arms will tan quickly naturally, and I'll need a product with a bit more tanning agent, so my legs can keep up! I don't tan, at all, not even a bit. I go red, get MANY freckles, and suffer heat rashes in the sun... My legs don't see much daylight and they're transparent, with a blue tinge. This gentle build-up self tanner from Ireland is just right for me (without over-generalising there's plenty of naturally pale Celtic skin over there too, so they're the people to trust with this!) I would look daft with the sort of heavy tan my lovely niece gets away with, I just want to take the blue tinge off! I applied a little as a test patch and the area didn't looked like I'd used a tanner, it just looked like a normal, warmer skin tone. Hurrah! It's a nice consistency (photo shows some product squeezed onto the lid, so you can see it's a light cream), and it has a pleasant, light fragrance. I was able to apply it thinly to test it's lightest result but I'll be able to be less sparing with it now I know it's a good colour on me. I think if you had a darker base tone you'd be building on that for more of a tanned look, but I'm pleased that I don't have to jump right to brown - it wouldn't work for me. You could build it up daily, but I would probably use it around twice a week to keep it a light, natural colour. I didn't notice any nasty smell as it worked (not like the old days where you'd wake up smelling like a chemical loo!). In fact it has nice ingredients which are hydrating too, so it's a pleasure to use. I remembered to scrub my hands after applying and didn't wake up with orange palms. Now I know I can use this regularly I'll invest in a tanning mitt. Very pleased with this product, and I'll confidently go about adding a regular 'tan' to my routine now!

First impressions are that this is a nice smooth cream that is easy to apply. It smells fresh and not at all of chemicals. I was excited to see the results and used the mitt to help with application. I was expecting a subtle glow after the first application. On waking in the morning, I noticed my legs looked really streaky. I am very pale but the cream did not look natural at all. It's a real shame as I had hopes for this product and felt like I had taken time to apply it properly. I think this isn't suited to me sadly and the result is a bit too dark for my pale skin.

This product has a very nice smell and is easy to apply and rub into the skin. its impact is subtle though noticeable after a few hours. I have used tanning products before but was unfamiliar with tanning moisturiser so was searching for a while anout whether i had to remove the product before realising that as a moisturiser I should actually leave on the skin. The moisturiser itself is actually really nice on the skin. After a few hours i did notice a difference in skin colour (I took pictures before and after to see it) though it was subtle. I think it will take a while to get the effect I want but i really like the idea of it being gradual both so I can control the shade and also that the effect looks as though it has occured naturally over a period rather than suddenly appearing to have tanned overnight. There is a lot in the container and I would expect this will last a long time. This seems well priced and uit is a good prodduct. I also really appreciate the addition of fruits extracts such as mango, papaya and goji berry

At last, a tanning cream that doesn't make my pale skin orange. I prepped beforehand using a moisturiser on the heels, ankles and knees, left this to dry and then applied a fair amount of the gradual tan lotion with a tanning mitt. It's a thick, white lotion that rubs in well with no initial unpleasant smell. I only applied on my legs and after an hour or so started smelling quite a strong tanning smell. I tried this in the morning and this review is 8 hours later, if you are asleep overnight then the smell won't really be an issue. I will say that it is a very subtle change, which is fabulous as you can layer each night and build it up. I have noticed that it is slightly drying but the best thing is I'm not orange!!

Overall a pretty nice self tan, left the skin feeling soft and moisturized without being sticky and tacky like a lot of self tanners. However personally for me, I didn't really like the smell, it's a bit strong. But that's just personal opinion, the tan itself is very good and has left me with a nice glow that isn't cakey or streaky. Would recommend

I purchased this. It arrived wrapped in a clear wrap. I noticed right away it was sloshing around in the tube. The stuff is absolutely liquified. Like white water. Smells horrible too. Returned as defective.
