Zojirushi SJ-JS10RA Stainless Steel Bottle Mug, 1.0-Liter, Red

Very well built and feels premium. I filled it with hot tea around 1 pm, and by 11 pm there was still visible steam when I opened the lid. It keeps drinks hot for the whole afternoon and evening. What surprised me most is how compact it is compared to similar volume competitors (see photo next to my Stanley). Much smaller overall size, easier to pack in a bag, and in my experience it actually performs better at heat retention. Perfect for long study days or road trips.

You get what you pay for and this is a high quality product. For how well it works keeping liquids hot and cold all day and how cute it is I’d say it was a good value. The capacity is nice as I like to bring this to work and can drink from it all day. It’s easy to use and the lock feature works nicely. There were no strange smells. This is a top notch brand and they make very nice products

I bought this thermos after searching for the right thermos for hot tea that I send to school with my son during the winter months. I tried Yeti’s and Stanley’s and everything in between and I am SO glad I found this thermos. It’s day one, no leaks, zero issues and my son just got home from school and the tea is STILL hot! I am wildly impressed as i definitely did not expect that after 8 hours he would still have a hot beverage. Definitely a must buy if you’re trying to get a product to keep coffee, tea, soups etc hot. I will say I preheated the thermos with boiling water as I was then making his tea and honey mix - not sure that helped or needs to be done, but can’t hurt!

I have half a dozen Zojirushi products, all of which have been great. This item, however, seems to have some design flaws which cause a lot of leaking. Firstly, as noted by many people here, the spout makes it difficult to pour without spilling liquid. This can be mitigated though by pouring slowly, so I can live with that. What is much more frustrating is my flask leaks from its seal. I have contacted Zojirushi who let me know it might be a seal issue, but that seals are not covered by warranty. Problem is, this is a very new flask, and the seal is installed properly and is fully intact. Rather than being a issue with the seal per se, I believe the issue is the top-piece is not designed with enough range to screw into the flask such that enough pressure is exerted on the seal to prevent fluid leaking into the thread when the flask is poured. I would avoid this item.

Super high quality thermos. I only use it for tea, but it holds heat very well! Make sure to hand wash it, otherwise the coating might get damaged!!! The opening mechanism is very unique as well, so far no leaks.

I have several top of the line thermoses from Stanley, Klean Kanteen, and thermos, and nothing even remotely compares to Zojerushi. This is the first Zojerushi product I bought from amazon (not from their web site). It is authentic product, just better priced. You can easily tell it by how long it retains heat and how light it is despite the size (1/3 the wight of comparable 1L Stanley). They probably redesigned the valve, because many negative concerns and reviewes about leaks and splattering during pouring - I simply cant see it. There is a lip in the nozzle that allows to smoothly pour the beverage, and the thermos is vented through a separate opening that prevents splattering. It also never leaked. It snaps very tightly when properly closed (have to push on the side, not on the top), and it has several silicone gaskets all around the moving parts.

I have tried many thermos to store my baby’s boiled water but none lasted for a long time except for this one. Highly recommended 👍🏻
