So the blower arrived in 3 days, worked fine and came with everything I needed to install it. It runs as quiet as the original blower.Things to know about installation on an XXV1. If you can, move your stove so that you can have good access to the entire rear of the stove. I couldn't and my stove sat kitty-corner on a 10" tall hearth seat and with limited access on the right side as looking from the rear. This made it difficult to get the blower out and back in again, and painful because the corner of the hearth seat was digging into my side. Because of this it took me an hour to install it.2. be careful of all the connections. Workmanship by the factory installing all those connectors was pretty poor and I had a couple of them just pull out as I cut the tie wraps on a cable bundle in order to get at the blower wires to disconnect them.3. Because of #2 above and because you will likely have to install the included crimp on connectors on the wires you remove from your old blower, having an inexpensive electrical connection crimp tool and extra connectors would be handy.4. Even though my blower had push in connectors on it, they were incomparable with the new blower so those had to be clipped off and the included connectors crimped on.

The old blower fan is still limping along, and I haven't installed this unit yet. I hope to get by until warm weather, when I don't need the stove running; it's out principle heat source.

I purchased this since the one on our old stove had stopped working after approx 16 years. I don't usually do electrical repairs but after watching a you tube video it looked pretty simple to replace. I used the old base of the broken one and easily attached it to the new one. The wiring all connected into the new one with no issues. I had the help of my husband with securing it back in place tightly but it was pretty easy to replace. It works great and pumps out a tremendous amount of heat making my stove efficient again. Would recommend trying this out and so much cheaper than going through a pellet repair store, paying for labor and probably doubling the price of the blower. Thank you for a great priced product

Bought this unit as a cheaper replacement part vs the Harmon OEM unit. It was never as quiet as the original OEM part. At a year it started making a slight squealing and scraping sound. A few weeks after that it was obnoxiously loud. I don't suspect it'll last much longer. I'm on the hunt for another replacement but it won't be one of these.

Had to replace the fan once before and used the Harman brand fan. Decided to tris this one and it fit perfect and blows with more force. Ordered a spare. Time will tell how long it lasts. LLess than half price.

The mounting holes on this unit did not line up with the holes on the XXV carriage. Item worked okay once I re-drilled holes so they lined up.

Works great. Fits perfect. Installed it Feb 1st. On the Harmon XXV it's harder to install. but not difficult. Also it's made in USA. Metal from Asia isn't as good as North American or European metal

Took a little bit more to install than expected but works well and stove is quieter now than when brand new. Looked at some cheaper units but went with genuine Harman Replacement parts. So far so good, quieter, heat output is better, and TV doesn't have to be louder when stove is running. Would buy again. Quality appears to be really good so if it is reliable and durable over time it will be great.
