I'd like to start by saying that I've been through so many pillows in an attempt to find one that is "just right". I've had some decent success with contour memory foam types in the past, but found they were still lacking. I tend to sleep on my side and for some reason in my sleep i smash the pillow to the top of the bed, so soft and mushy types of pillows will fail me. I decided to try the latex foam as I had a latex foam bed in the past and liked it alot. Now we have a Sleep Number bed and I augmented it with a quality latex foam topper. So why not try a latex foam pillow! Well I did with this one and i'm 1000% happy that I did. This pillow is the best I have tried to date. It is springy enough to resist my head smashing it into a wedge at the top of the bed, while still being giving enough to be super comfortable. It is also supportive sleeping on my side so my neck stays aligned with my body. I really like the latex foam more than the "memory foams" out there. It returns instantly to its shape, so as you move around you don't end up with "memory" holes that take forever to fill back in. Even sleeping on my back which sometimes happens it works really well. I was concerned about heat buildup, but have to say its a non-issue here. In all, I'm super pleased , this pillow is worth it and I hope they keep making them for when i need another in hopefully many years of service of this one.

I rarely write reviews on Amazon, but I felt compelled to share my experience with this pillow -- it’s been transformative for my neck pain. As a predominantly side sleeper, I’ve tried numerous down pillows that are marketed as 'perfect' for side sleepers, but they usually lack adequate support and lose their shape quickly, even with regular fluffing. This latex pillow, however, stands out: it maintains its shape exceptionally well and strikes an ideal balance between firmness and comfort. Highly recommend this for fellow side sleepers looking for consistent support!

I've been searching for a pillow for years. I have a neck condition that makes sleeping a challenge. I had an egg-crate foam contour pillow for many years that served me well, but it was disintegrating with time. That company went out of business, and since then I have bought numerous pillows that were unusable for me. Recently I bought two other pillows that were of memory foam, which were touted as helping people's neck pain, that I just had to return. I decided to try natural latex, and after reading the reviews felt it was worth spending a little extra. Voila! I found my dream pillow. This pillow is supportive while cradling your head in cushiony splendor. I am 5' 2" and the Talatex soft pillow is perfect for me. I am amazed at the level of comfort. AN IMPORTANT NOTE: The pillow was very nicely boxed, and over a couple of hours filled out to its true shape. When I first purchased the pillow I aired it out for a day and washed the outer cover which washed very nicely. Lying down on it for an hour or so, I found myself having a bit of an allergic reaction. I then read it should be aired out for a few days. This pillow was so comfortable, I was not going to part with it, so I slept on it that night and that slight reaction totally went away, and has never returned. Thank you Talatex for making such an extraordinary product, and for making my nights sleepable again!

When it was delivered, it was rolled up tight in a tube shape. I took it out and it was very squashed. I nervously left it out in a well-ventilated place for 3 days as per the instructions. And lo and behold, it did puff up some and there was no odor. I would rate it as the ad does--soft to medium. When I pick it up, it's VERY floppy. I think it would have been much better if they punched 10-15% fewer holes in it. What do they do with the latex from the holes? Anyway, I think adding the bottom separate piece was a nice touch.The latex is covered in a thin white cover and then again in a thicker quilted cover. Overall I would call the pillow nice, but I would have preferred more body to it.

I like the firmness, but even using the higher curved edge, it’s still too low or thin. I had to fold a small kids blanket & place it underneath it to make it higher in order to be comfortable. I’m a medium size male. If the it was a little higher or more thicker I would’ve given a 5 star. Considering the high price.

Excellent price point for a fabulous latex pillow. It has both "give" and support to offer, and I noticed no chemical smells when I unpacked it. It sleeps cool and yet cozy. I've done a lot less tossing, turning, and pillow-pounding since my sis told me about her purchase and how pleased she was with it. Goodbye to the gel-topped foam pillows that always develop "issues" with long-term use & hello to "perma-pillow!" A perfect addition to my full-latex mattress. My grown kids have (real) latex mattress toppers & just might be getting a set of these pillows gifted to them shortly...don't tell!

I absolutely love this pillow. Been looking for a thick, firm pillow that’s comfortable and it holds its shape and I’ve finally found it. My king size pillowcases fit this in the queen size. Excellent quality and worth every penny.

The pillow has a smelly odor. No matter what I tried (hand wash, machine wasy, open air drying, etc.) - nothing would remove the smell. emailed the company's customer service, but they didn't even bother to respond. KEEP AWAY!
