So many great features combined in a cuddly toy
While the baby I got this gift for isn't due for another 5 months, (around Valentine's Day), I saw this adorable toy chameleon with incredible fabric choices and features, and I just had to go ahead and get it. I don't do much baby shopping any more, but there doesn't seem to be a lot suitable starting for a "Newborn". It's so adorable in the picture, so I was a little disappointed when I opened the box and Mr. Cameleon is neatly packaged in clear plastic. I was sort of hoping to check him out more closely, but I guess I have to wait until February. He has a variety of entertainment for an infant with a teether, rattler and Montesorri sensory toy.

multipurpose...and cute
I can't wait for my 7 month old grandson to play with this. It is such a bright and colorful and soft toy.While I feel like some of the pictures on the product page make it look bigger than it is vis-a-vis the babies' pictures, it certainly is long. I like how the ruler on the underside of the toy shows both inches and cenitmeters (could be a useful teacher for adults too!).The underside fabric is nice and plushy. while the segments of the caterpillar each have different patterns, different fabrics, and different funcitons. Some are crinkly and others aren't. The attached teether is great because at this age, everything goes into the mouth.I can't find on both the packaging and the product page whether or not this toy is machine washable. I'd like to know...
