8.2 FT Giant Spider - Scary Halloween Decoration, Fake Furry Big Spider Props for Indoor/Outdoor Party Creepy Decor - Black

Bought this particular spider after reading lots of reviews. I set him up on the stairs in my loft, on top of a fake web from Target. He’s hairy and spooky, yet kind of cute somehow. We named him Samuel. He’s sure to be a hit at this year’s Halloween party.

Long story short, my toddler never wanted us to take down the Christmas tree so we ended up turning it into an all year tree and have decorated it for all the various holidays. We just decorated it for Halloween and this spider is the star of the show. I love that the legs fold up so this huge spider can be stored rather compactly. It's very cute and fun and I'm sure we'll use it year after year. I gave it 4 stars for durability only because I'm not sure it would last if you used it outside. Obviously, I haven't put it to the test but based on the feeling of material and such, I think it will fair much better as an indoor decoration.Bottom line - just buy it

Was surprised when this little package arrived. The spider was so folded that it was about 12 inches in size but it unfolded to a big spider. It really is big.Was disappointed with the size of legs. They are so slender, you can't see them from a distance. That's why I didn't give it a 5.

This was the perfect size for my desk. It was scary and I won a prize, ya'll. Please note: no gnomes were hurt in the decorating of this desk. Buy the spider! It is so great! The wiry legs are excellent to position.

The only reason they can say 10 ft is because the legs are very disproportionate. Two of the legs are just fabric halfway down. The "smaller" spider in the picture is a 30 inch. The body and leg thickness are the same.

I was really excited for this spider. But for the price of the product wasnt what I expected. The legs are so thin it was comical to be honest. The legs arent the same legnth. I compared its body to one of the other spiders (bought at local store last year for $3) & it was the same size body just noodle legs. I had to fold some of the legs to make it look decent.I work at a school & decorate the cafeteria for the kids. Kids will be excited regardless but I think i'll just buy it at my local store. I tried to load a picture but it wouldnt allow it.

When I first opened the package, I thought the spider would only rate three stars because it was so compact and lightweight. Turns out that is one of its best features! When you unfold the bendable legs the spider gets so much bigger and realistic looking. I was so happy with the first one, that I ordered a second to put outside on a work scaffold. I loved how easy it was for this grabby monster to find a foothold and since our house is at the top of a canyon beside the sea, anything outdoors has to be able to hold on in our gusty winds. When Halloween is over, the spiders will be gently folded and put into their ziplock bags for easy storage. I highly recommend these furry giants!
