They are satin but not that thick, I like that they are thin so they don't make you seat. It's sewd from the end of it but you can easily remove it and sew it again the size you want. it's wide enough like five fingers wide. it's very good for the price.

These are gorgeous color, and are easy to use. You can use cricket iron-on lettering. Just use a low temp to seal. You can also paint with ease.2 cons:1. they are really just a cheap RIBBON2. wish they were a little bit longer, that seems to be a general problem with these type of sashes when you have a tall girls you need about an extra 2 in each side, and with them already connected, they may not fall right (also means you cant UNCONNECT without loosing some of the ribbon,decent value for the money if you only need a small amount.
