I ordered a pkg of 2 collars, pink and blue. They came earlier than expected and with 2 chargers, but no instructions. I came to the website for directions. Pretty easy....Just measure your pet's neck, cut with the scissors, pull the white clip from the end and put it on where you clipped. It's a flexible, yet strong piece of rubber with a thin piece of wire in it. As you place the clip inside the rubber, the rubber will grip the clip. Just gently work the rubber over the clip. It will take a few seconds but you will see it moving a little at a time until it's snug....it takes 5-10 seconds depending on your finger strength and fine motor skills. I cut the collars large enough so they can be slipped over the heads of each pup rather than having to unclip the collars each time. The collars seem sturdy, flexible and water proof. When on the charger, they are pink until they are fully charged, then the area turns green (see picture). The collars are bright and the pups adjusted to them quickly. I am able to see my puppies anywhere they go inside our fenced area, which has been a problem in the past. We live along the river and it gets pretty dark out here. Our black puppy is hard to see, even with the motion sensor lights on and with me standing outside with her. Now my heart won't skip a beat because she won't be able to do her disappearing act anymore. Thank you for providing a collar that is reasonably priced and works so well! (This is NOT a collar that you would hook a leash too, but it is exactly what I needed!!!!

This pink is a very pretty, orangey-pink ("hot pink"), not a soft baby doll pink, though I have seen other brands that are more of a soft pink. These are also round tubing, the size of my pinky in diameter, not flat like some similar ones I've seen. Three settings: quick flash, slow blink, and solid are great and the button to switch between settings is handy. The directions that came with these were helpful and it was super easy for me to cut this down to the right size for my 10-lb Chug dog. These come quite large, maybe an X-Large for a huge dog, and then you just pull the tubing off one end and use scissors or a knife to cut between the lights to get it to the size you need, and then insert the end you pulled out into the tube. Easy as can be! Charges easily and quickly: I just plug it into my computer via the included USB and it takes maybe 15-30 minutes? (I've never timed it). I can use this multiple times on one charge as well. Very bright after a charge and then gradually becomes duller when it starts losing charge. Only negative is that I could see these popping open and falling off if two dogs that play rough really get going, or on a tough hiking trip where your dog is climbing all over rocks or running through brush. However, I have taken both my dogs to the dog park while wearing these (I bought one for each dog; pink for my Chug and orange for my Labrahoula boy) and no problems yet. I've had lots of people saying how neat these are and appreciative drivers letting me know these offer great visibility when I walk my dogs on the sidewalk in the evening hours. I'd purchase again. The price was fair, comparable to similar products, a bit less probably as I am always a bargain hunter. I cannot say if these are better or worse than comparable products but I'm happy and my dogs look great in them!

I have 2 dogs and at least one walk is in the dark. These are low cost collars that are very bright and easy to see. The 2-pack was economical and gets the job done. They worked out of the box and the pictures are without charging. Minus one star for the USB port covers being cheap and flimsy. There’s also no instructions on how to cut down for smaller necks. If you cut it down, you can either cut through the silver light strand or cut just the rubber and “stuff” the light in the collar. Cutting the metal silver strand does NOT cause the lights to fail.

I also have similar collars by BSEEN. I thought these would be the same as the BSEEN ones since they light up the same way, but was pleasantly surprised that these are of better quality. (BSEEN makes several versions--I'm referring to the one that has several little points of light like this one, not the one that emits a solid beam of light all around the collar.) I bought the blue and it emits a good amount of light. Not as super bright as the BSEEN pink one, which is VERY bright and shines white like an actual light. But on par with the BSEEN red one--good light but more of a glow. What makes this collar superior to the BSEEN version is that it locks closed. The tubing end that you pull out to "open" the collar has a hard plastic cap piece which actually clicks into the white battery portion of the collar. This makes the collar more secure so you don't have to worry about the collar falling off. The BSEEN one doesn't have the end cap piece and the tubing itself just slips over the battery portion. The rubber piece that closes over the USB port also is more secure in the closed position compared to the BSEEN. However, it is a bit tricky to fit that piece over the USB so it closes properly. But once it is closed properly, it stays closed. The BSEEN one seems to come undone at the slightly brush, making me concerned about water getting into it. The BSEEN collar is a few dollars cheaper. I would say that's reflected in the quality. Both work as intended and for $10 or less, both are great products. I have 1 for each dog and 1 for myself for our evening/night time walks in the dark. Not only do they illuminate enough to serve their purpose, but they're actually quite pretty. Like Christmas lights. We get a lot of attention and I enjoy looking at them as we're walking. One downside for me personally of this collar vs the BSEEN is that the BSEEN version uses the same USB size as my Kindle. In a world of a hundred different USB plug (for Kindle, iphone, ipad, etc), it's always a plus when you can use the same USB plug for multiple products. For BSEEN, I can use my Kindle USB plug but this one does not fit so that's 1 more cord to add to my USB collection.

I live in a semi-rural area that gets really dark. I need to be able to see my dogs in the yard at night and always use light collars. These seem well-built, water resistant, and easy to cut to size. However, they frequently turn themselves off despite the full charge—defeating the purpose of them. I’ve even watched the dogs inside the house to see if they’re accidentally hitting the power button and they aren’t. The USB port cover never stays in place letting in dirt and water. These also use mini-B USB cables (included) which aren’t as common anymore, so you can’t just use micro-USB cables which are way more common and plentiful and may already be plugged into your charging area to charge other household electronics. Overall, I’d return them but I’ve already cut them to size and I’m not sure it would be worth the hassle. I would not recommend these light collars.

It functions well but I have to keep turning it back on because the power button is easy to press with a slight touch. Battery life is good and Lasts longer than I thought. Didn’t get pictures but will post when I get some

UPDATE: We've now had this collar for nearly 1 year and it's still a wonderful purchase for our black dog. We live in a rural area and our dog ran off across to the other end of a 19 acre field chasing deer the other night. We saw her flashing and could see where she went so we could retrieve her. Numerous neighbors have told us they can see her as they make their way up our private road long before they near our home. We've purchased extra to add onto our daughter's bike to ensure her safety. We are amazed at how long it holds a charge and had to go looking for the provided cord when it finally gave-out because we haven't had to charge it in many months. I'm actually purchasing a couple for Christmas gifts for family members with dogs. Great quality product-a must buy!! Unbelievably amazing item! It was easy to adjust to size by simply cutting with basic scissors. It also charges quickly and easily. But the reason for my 5-star review is the safety of my dog that this brings. I bought the pink color for my all-black dog. We live in the country with no outdoor lights. The other night our neighbor was returning home and said he spotted her running in our open yard across the open corn fields away. He immediately slowed down. In the dark of night she's not visible at all. The multi-settings is a bonus and coupled to the brightness, this product puts safety first. I plan to purchase more for my child to use when on her bike. Highly recommended!

It worked for a few weeks and then it would just turn off during walks, even on a full charge. Now we have to find another collar that’s RELIABLE.
