Sthor 58643 – Tool Set 1/4 56pcs

Really useful set of standard and long reach 1/4 inch sockets complete with sensible 72 tooth ratchet + extentions and T bar at a sensible price . Have already used it for hard to get at nuts and bolts - very useful and well made all in a decent plastic box .

Excellent tool box for the money, even thought about buying another one for myself.

It's really disappointing when you arrange something for a Christmas present and then find out the quality is not really up to scratch, yes the set looks nice and possibly would have kept it if there wasn't any quality control issues but now going to send it back. Deep 10mm socket damaged.

I returned this as the box was atrocious and the ratchet head was loose. I don't know if it was a defect or just cheap quality. I know it's a relatively cheap set and so not expecting a gold lined box or anything but the mechanism is so ridiculously flimsy that if you sneeze near it and knock the box, it will open and all the bits will fly out. None of the bits are held securely on the base section, only the top section, so it's easy for bits to come out of place.As for the ratchet itself, despite having an excellent number of teeth, the head itself was loose and wobbly and so unable to really use the tool properly and get torque without additional effort to keep it straight and perpendicular. Maybe you get what you pay for but it shouldn't be like that at all.2 stars given for the number of pieces you get for the price, shame my unit was either defective or the ratchet itself is just very low quality, and the box is just a terrible design.

Catch on box not working on delivery. Very weak catch on box won't last long.The sockets and ratchet seem ok shame about the box not being very strongly constructed.
