Donald and Dorothy

Delightful for it's era.
After a confusing and tedious start a romp through the lives of affluent twin orphans builds to a triumphant finale. Reminicent of the style of Louisa May Alcott, children may enjoy this depiction of the entertainments of the mid-nineteenth century.

A Fun, Frolicking Tale with a Touch of Mystery!
Written (so far as I can find) in 1893 by the author of "Hans Brinker", this story centers around twins. There is some uncertainty as to Dorothy's true identity. I got the free Kindle version, and it is a story that I would gladly recommend!
