Awesome shoe….
My 60 yr old brother is an avid runner and hiker. He normally runs and hikes in boots, but the pair he had split while he is visiting us from France. He asked for these in place of the boot, they arrived VERY timely and are PERFECT. If I could use these shoes I would opt for a couple pair as I got through shoes quickly and most are extremely uncomfortable. I have lymphedema, so the top swelling of my feet need something that REALLY stretches. These have a bit of “give”, but hardly enough for someone with “turtle shell” feet :P. Otherwise, these have turned out to be a great show at a great cost with great shipping. 5 stars!

Whitin's best shoe yet
Update: work for a few weeks now and I still love them, however I do wish that they came in half sizes. I think an 11.5 would have been ideal.I have four other styles of whitins and this is my favorite by far. First, the toe box is still foot shaped and wide, but less than the others that I have. This is a good thing since my foot is no longer slipping around inside the shoe. The side panels also help to keep my feet more secure. The structured toe and lugs make these perfect for trails. I also appreciate the flatter soles, which gives the shoe a more natural barefoot feel. I've only worn them for one workout so far, but they performed admirably. I plan to wear these for hiking and kettlebell training.

Fits great
Great fit for husband's wide feet. Choose this zero drop style to hike up Yellowstone mountain trails which worked great even on wet rocks

Fits as expected & feels worth it so far.
They don't feel like anything that will blow me out of the water, but for the price. It's absolutely worth it. Insoles or no insoles they feel great. Foot shape is good, traction seems good. Material is fine for being what the shoe is, definitely lightweight and thinner material. Be careful what you use it for. However, the flexibility of the shoe helps it be a little more robust to getting torn up too easy. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase as of right now. Will update later if any defects pop up.

Fit
These sneakers are great for me, I prefer a shoe that does not cramp my toes.. Having wide feet is hard when buying shoes. They also are made well for the price. Very comfortable and stylish..

Almost Good
It's a good looking shoe, but there were two main things that were a problem. When you try running or flex your shoe, the top of the fabric really digs into the top of your feet. It was only a little bit uncomfortable, But I'm concerned if I were to do a long hike or run, I'll end up with chafing or blisters on the top of my toes.I love the wide fit, and the look as well as the aggressive grip, but I think the construction of this shoe needs more ergonomic design. Also, longer laces. Laces are too short.

My experience
The shoe is far to tight and short thus eliminating the wide toe box. Eight eyelets are too small impeding the lacing process. Only the top two eyelets are the proper size. The cloth eyelet on the shoe’s tongue is to wide providing insufficient room for laces.
