2.5Gallon 304 Stainless Steel High Pressure Mini Small Portable Air Tank Air Reservoir Water Storage Tank (10L-SG)

This is heavy wall pipe with welded caps. The welds look great. Well made overall.This will be part of the onboard air system on my Jeep. Needed a small reservoir for air lockers that would mount inside my aftermarket front bumper. This will do it.

Tank look to be of great quality, installed and threads where npt and had a nice bite

As other have mentioned, threads are cut too deep, but extra tape and dope are a easy fix.

Quality is very good and craftsmanship is perfect. Hopefully they make bigger tanks like 10 gallons .

I don't know what they call npt threads in China but these are Not to specification. These are cut way out of tolerance and will not seal. There is no way this tank will hold pressure. I can't believe they rate this junk at 180 psi. No quality control with this company. Save your money for something that was manufactured correctly.

This is a fairly good strong tank. The only problem was getting some of the fittings to seal. I tried liquid pipe sealer, liquid Teflon, Teflon tape, and Indian head shellac. What finally worked was mixing up JB weld and using that as a pipe sealer. I had to let it set over night but in the morning no leaks. What a pile of time to figure this out.

The three sections the tank is welded up from are visibly misaligned by at least half a millimetre and the mounting bracket is not straight, bent by the heat of the weld that attached it to the tank. But more importantly is the issue that the bungs are threaded a little too big.And by "a little too big" is that threading a 1/4 tapered NPT brass fitting results in a lose fit, the fitting being screwed all the way down such that the thread has ended and the rim of the fitting is abutting the rim of the bung, and yet even with multiple layers of Teflon tape or with the application of thread sealant, the pipe union still leaks. An o-ring is required to make a leak-proof seal.One star because the threaded bungs are useless. Tapered threads should not require o-rings. If they had made the threads too tight then it would have been better because at least they could be chased to the proper size, but here they sent it a little too far.Otherwise the tank looks amazing, nice polished inox steel.
