Brother Yellow High Yield Ink Cartridge (Capacity: 1200 pages)

Yield is good, as is the colour saturation. I have bought non-branded ones in the past but eventually they look up the machine and it doesn’t work as well. You can really tell the difference since I’ve replaced my cartridges with the brother ones I won’t be going back to the cheaper ones

These work well in my Brother printer. I've tried cheaper copies in the past but am never happy with the results, so stick to these and just try to keep the use down.I've only given four stars purely because of price - quality is fine.

Brother MFC-J 6720 DW (LC-129 XL BK) This is a great buy, albeit a little too expensive. All my work is for Charity so whilst I need to watch the pennies as I no longer work, I do need also to ensure the quality of what I am printing. This is probably the best Inkjet printer I have owned and the quality (Consistently so) of the print leaves all other behind. Only wish is that it were a little more affordable. Thank you very much. Product arrived in good package and not excessive and arrived sooner than I expected.

We get through 4 or 5 of each colour a year so the "saving" considering buying "compatibles" is significant. We have tried them and found the others to be noticeably poorer quality, inconsistent "colour fastness" and far more problems that we have with the originals. This applies to all the LC125XL cartridges and especially the LC129 black. We buy the genuine product for a reasonable price and achieve excellent reliability and quality.

Efficient replacement inks

I bought this genuine Brother black ink cartridge in a last ditch attempt to rectify a printing problem - the black would simply not work after a few pages, and it was suggested by other reviewers of the cheap 'compatible' inks I was using that they might be the problem. So, as the alternative was buying a new printer, I bought Brother ink from Amazon and, lo and behold, after inserting the cartridge and performing the cleaning operation twice, it printed beautifully. Although the cheaper inks were so much cheaper, they're not worth it if they don't perform; I shall certainly stick to quality ink products in the future.

Easy to switch out, but is expensive if sourced from Brother, which I do as print quality good
