This product is great! The instructions are easy to follow and the package is good. The adhesive is good on the strips itself but for the remote, it kept falling off. Luckily, it comes with extra adhesive. I love the colors and how vibrant they are. It comes with an app, Govee Home, which allows you to customize to your hearts desire. I highly recommend!

By far one of the best led light strips I’ve bought for TV. The adhesive is very sticky and lights are super vibrant. The app is wonderful and simple to use with a lot of different light options to elevate any room. If you game these are a must have!! Plus spring sale saved me 40%!! Will be buying more products from Govee in the future.

Very Easy to install, set up, and use! Got this for my 8 year olds room and he loves it. We hooked it up to Alexa and he can change the colors turn it off and on with ease. This was a great buy!

The app is easy to use(yes you need 2.4 frequency wifi) I like how you can use the built in device mic or switch to your phone’s mic. They light up amazing and really bring my set up together. Reason it isn’t 5 stars is bc the corners don’t light up ( for obvious reasons). They were also a bit harder to put on if you have a bigger tv. But for the price I’d say it’s worth it for sure.

The box is nicely packaged with all that you need. It comes with the LED strip, instructions, AC power brick, and adhesive strip brackets. The package arrived in perfect condition and is sealed ensuring it's a new product.The LED strip has flexible spots at the corners allowing it to bend for easier installation and better hold on the TV. I wiped the TV down using Windex to get the dust off, then used the alcohol wipes to clean off the surface a bit more. Each strip has paper protecting the sticky part, so I did one strip at a time. Working from the corner closest to the power outlet. It took less than 10 minutes to install it. I did use the brackets in certain spots but don't think it was required. They do place spaces on the strips for the brackets do they don't damage the LEDs. It was a very well thought out product.I did have the app installed from another product of theirs. Finding a new product was quite easy and took a minute for it to SYNC. The interface has quite a bit of options but users can customize it. Its fun to play with the different options, color schemes. You can control brightness so it's not too loud of colors.There is a features that allows the lights to change with sound. You can choose from the device (TV) or your phone. The colors don't sync to the scenes but still pretty cool to play with. Considering the price for the product, I find no flaws in it. I can also add other Govee products to the app and I can choose which ones to control, so there is a plus in that.

This backlight is not the kind that changes to the tv, just a led strip you can change from your phone.That being said the color and brightness of these lights are changeable on your phone, they’re super bright and vibrant if you have it on the higher settings. Functional for watching tv or just wanting to light the room up when it’s dark. They’re pretty easy to get on the tv and the adhesive has stuck well without issues for the past few months.

These are great. I'm using them as accent lighting in my room (I understand they are for TV's) but I'll speak to the overall quality.For the price, they are great.They are bright, have app support for Google and Amazon, and have zones that you can alter the colors for. (for if you want the top and bottom of your monitor/tv to be one color, and the sides another).The Govee app lets you set all kinds of themes/colors for the strips. Which is great for using these behind a monitor/TVThey stick very well, and include guides to hold down the cables that are in between the strips.Installing these are a breeze, there are two long strips, and two shorter strips (for the top/bottom of your tv, and the sides)They are bright enough that you really won't see any gaps in light coverage.You can also adjust the brightness as well.The Govee app connects very quickly to Amazon Alexa as well.They seem to go on sale a lot too, so they are worth the purchase.I highly recommend them.

It’s been 10 years since I bought LED lights for the back of a TV. The first set I ever bought was for IKEA and they seem like antiques now. So I was excited about new LED lights. It was all simple enough if not a little cumbersome to install. The wiring in between the LED strips that allow for the turns are not intuitive and refuse to lay flat. But once I had it all installed on the back, it looks pretty clean from the front. When I first turned them on using the attached control box, they are extremely bright, too bright in fact. But after downloading the app and signing up for yet another account to control some piece of technology in my life, I was able to adjust the brightness all the way down to one percent, which was an acceptable level for what I was looking for, I was excited to play with the settings and see the different “scenes “these lights can do. Aside from one or two examples in all the preset scenes, It is very difficult to find something where the lights fade together seamlessly, instead, the LEDs all seem to march around the perimeter of my TV turning on and off in a very staccato, abrupt fashion that reminds me of the Las Vegas strip rather than seamless ambience that should be accenting the room rather than catching my eye, distracting me, and attempting to give me a seizure. All to say, I will keep these lights. I will use them simply to give some ambience and color to my room at night by accessing the app and turning it down to about 1% to 5%. I will not use all the crazy scenes because frankly they give me a headache. From the looks of it I can probably customize some scenes myself, but in the 10 minutes I took to play around with it. It is not intuitive and it would probably take me five hours to achieve my goals. Not worth my time.
