Delicious, complex flavor
I tried this tea in my SipsBy subscription a few years ago and it stuck with me! It has so many layers of flavor, and it's so much more delicious than bagged chai. I tried using it to make cold brew iced chai and it wasn't great for that, but I may have just needed to let it brew for longer. It's so good hot though, and it's well worth the extra time it takes to make loose leaf tea. This is a hot tea that I definitely take the time to savor, and I highly recommend it for any chai lover.

Amazing chai tea from a great company
Hands down this is one of my favorite teas. If I want a chai tea - I will reach for this every time. It is high quality and ethically sourced tea, so I feel good about what I'm drinking. I love the packaging that it comes in as well. The company itself also focuses on giving back to the community, so I'm happy to support them.

Awesome Black Tea. But Chai?
Pros:- Very cute box with a sealed bag of loose leaf tea- I love my loose leaf and this is high-quality tea- Delicious black tea with subtle notes of cinnamonCons:- The chai part is very subtle - this mostly tastes like black tea- There is no way to reseal the bag after opening - I recommend tossing a rubber band around it!

Smoky taste overpowers spices
I love chai and I usually make my own with whole spices and a robust English Breakfast tea. I had high hopes for this organic chai breakfast tea. I brewed it according to the instructions provided on the package: 2 g tea per cup, boiling water, steep for 5 minutes, but I wasn't thrilled with the results. The tea has a strong smoky taste that overpowers the rather weak spices and lingers on the palate. I do like a strong tea, and I occasionally enjoy some Lapsang Suchong, but I don't care for the smokiness in this chai. This tea comes in a plain vacuum-sealed bag and includes a wire band that you can use to re-close the bag. But I transferred it to a tin for easier access. If you are planning to order this tea as a gift, be aware that the outer cardboard box that has all the branding and product information is very flimsy. There's a good chance that it will get crushed in transit, making for a very sad looking gift.
