Q: Do you have to pay for a subscription with this product? If you do and you decide you don’t want that expense, what does the product actually do?

Buyer Beware. The product capabilities and subscription model have drastically changed since i bought my first Nanit camera in 2019. While i love the camera and features, there is no basic functionality anymore like they use to have so if you do not want to pay 120-299 annually for a subscription to get features that use to be free beyond the first year. I would recommend another product. It’s very deceptive of this company and if i could do over again I wouldn’t buy this camera again. It’s shameless to tell parents you have breathing monitoring and other features but then disable them after you used the same camera for 3 plus year and now you have to buy a subscription. I get the need to pay for storage beyond the 1 day or 7 days but now you can’t even turn on real time monitoring features without paying out the nose annually!!! So mad

Q: We are needing a 3 camera system for twins and a toddler.. $1200 is pretty expensive for this system. Can anyone recommend a better deal??

Also, the biggest feature of the camera, monitoring breathing requires a subscription. The lowest tier subscription is included for each camera for the first 12 months. After 12 months, if you want to continue to monitor breathing, you will have to pay a monthly subscription for EACH camera. W/out the subscription, it's just a normal baby monitor camera.

Q: My crib isn’t against the wall. Is there a way to use this with a floating crib?

If you're using a Floating Crib our team would recommend the Nanit Pro Camera + Floor Stand. This will allow you to use the camera with the setup you have.

Q: Can you move the camera from the wall mount onto the flex stand? Or do you need to purchase another camera?

It goes back and forth, no need for two cameras.
