Nintendo NES Cartridge Retro Drink Coasters for Gamers - Officially Licensed, Featuring Donkey Kong, Legend of Zelda, Super Mario, and More Classic Games, Set of 8 | Paladone

The media could not be loaded. So, today I am reviewing the NES Coasters by Paladone, a fully authorised Nintendo product. It features 8 different coaster designs based on NES classic titles, which are the following; Super Mario Bros 1- 3, Donkey Kong, Metroid, ExciteBike, Duck Hunt and my personal favourite The Legend of Zelda.Taking the shape of an NES cartridge, the front of the coaster designs are great, a very good quality printed finish, but I did notice that the rear print of the coaster was almost quite faded and didn’t have quite the same quality of finish - a very minor gripe.This coaster set is absolutely jam packed full of fun and nostalgia for 80’s or 90’s kids - and would make a perfect little gift for that age group - I know that I would most definitely appreciate this sort of gift.All in all, a great little product that would be a welcome addition to anyone’s coffee table, studio or office space.I waited to do this review to see how durable they would be with multiple uses and much to my surprise, they've shown no sign of wearing at all.Lastly, you definitely can't argue with the price (at the time of review) at a little under £6.00, I would even go as far to say that this product is a bargain.

These are great, a throwback to a previous time. The design is flawless and there's so many to choose from.Many reviews state "They fall apart" etc but I have put these through their limits. I've had dripping cups, fresh lemonade with ice, bowls of cereal and much more. They've stayed together completely fine, no falling apart, easy to clean up and the print stays completely intact. I'm sure over a couple months I will start to see some wear and tear but you get so many in a packet that it's no bother.10/10 purchase and will be buying again if I ever make it through all of them

These look great and are a decent size. They are functional, good value for money and make a great addition to a gamers room. Brilliant!

the only thing to bear in mind is to not put a drink on it that is too cold i.e with ice as the coasters are pretty absorbent which is useful but they don't hold they shape and the layers have started peeling/curving up at the sides. its also not as rigid as before. If these were a more robust material they'd be perfect. All that said id still recommend them

The print quality of the images is first rate and I like that the back of the NES cartridge is also printed on the reverse side of the coasters.They seem to be made of a plasti-coated carboard, but they are incredibly durable, liquid resistant and easy to wipe clean, I've been using them regularly now for a couple of months, with hot coffees and alcoholic beverages alike and they still looks as good as new.

Was bought for someone as a ‘secret Santa’ and they absolutely loved them! Would definitely recommend to a retro gaming fan. Good quality and brings back many memories.

They are not good quality as coasters go. They are thick card and you can see where they were press out of the cutting sheet. I'd rather they gave you fewer coasters but of better quality than these low grade prints on card.

These are lovely little Costers totally replicating the look of and the NES cartridge brilliant looking in my man cave
