I had low expectations for this product, but am impressed so far. No good light in my office and was getting eyestrain from two bright monitors, or trying to see stuff on my desk. The design is pretty good and it lights up the wall behind the monitors, plus my desk without shining in my eyes or affecting the view of the monitors.The different color temp and brightness options are good. The arm rose well above my 27" monitors that are on stands about 8" off the desk. The mount is sturdy. I honestly didn't even realize it came with a remote that had an extension so it makes it easy to control.

It’s a sleek, cool, and modern looking lamp that provides a nice, large swath of light for my nice, large desk. The flexible gooseneck is very easy to maneuver as desired, but also strong enough to stay put when that “just right” position is achieved and I found it to be quite easy to angle it so that I get the maximum amount of light where I want it without it shining in my eyes. The mounting clamp is plenty strong and I have no concerns for the lamp falling over, but my lone gripe is that the knob is a tad too large and it was slightly hitting the back of my desk and not allowing me to install with the back portion of the clamp bracket fully against the edge of the desktop, which left a teeny tiny gap. It’s not a huge deal, but it’s slightly annoying to have movement when I’m trying to hold the lamp in a specific position as I tighten the knob. I very much prefer the wired remote over a wireless one so I don’t have to deal with battery changes or disappearances and the cord was long enough to run under my desk so I could attach the remote to my keyboard tray for a nice, clean stealth install. There are enough color temp and brightness options to satisfy anyone and everyone I think, but, for me, I find the temp and brightness I like and just leave it. I guess a second gripe would be that the face of the remote is perfectly smooth with no tactile feel to the buttons, so you need to be looking at it to press the correct area for the desired function. Since I only care about the on/off “button”, I attached an adhesive silicone bumper dot on it so I can operate it by touch. The specific timers of 10 and 45 minutes are kind of odd and about as useful as a screen door on a submarine, but I guess they wanted to add some extra features to the remote.

Perfect desk light! Good build quality. Love the multiple white color temperatures and di.ming feature. Very flexible light bar...in fact, I've contorted it in such a way as to have the light bars under my monitors. Highly recommend

I got this for my desk at work. Where I sit in our office I don't have a lot of lighting. We have tall tech benches that we're using as desks, so it blocks a lot of light coming from the fixtures in the room. This item was bought to give a little extra light to my workspace, and it did just that.Plenty of dimming modes and color temperature options make it versatile and functional, it was easy to install, and the remote is easy to use. I highly recommend this product. I'm using it at a medium brightness level, but I'd recommend it for all situations. It can really put out some light. No flickering, either.
