Not bad on value and can cool for stickier pastries
It is an ok product so far. I need to use it on a wider variety of pastry like recipes to give more detailed feedback. On flat breads it was a little butter than my old wooden roller, so the option of cooling it in the fridge before hand is there if you use it for sweet pastries or very short pie pastries as it is steel, should stay cooler longer so less sticking. I’m happy with it and it was easy to clean. I saw some cheaper models but overall this is not bad on value.

Good product
Bought this for doing biscuits so they all cook the same.I like the different thickness measurements, though I am not sure they are perfectly accurate. Though they are not off by much.It is easy to clean, and easy to use, and gets the same thickness all over whatever you are rolling out. It is nice and lightweight, too.Only downside is that you can easily catch the edge of the dough when rolling because you are limited in width, and the accuracy of the measurements.

More rings are desired.
This rolling pin is very useful for rolling pastry out to precise thickness. The only down fall is that it has a limited number of thicknesses you can roll your dough out. For example there is only a 4mm or 6mm rings and you need to to roll it out at 5mm.Another down fall is that it is made of metal and this conducts heat from your hands and this is a problem if you are making shortcrust pastry as it’s very temperature dependant, warm dough is not good and can ruin your pastry results.

Takes the wonkiness out of dough - mostly.
I'm not that great at rolling out dough to an even thickness so this is absolutely brilliant for me. The depth rings are colour coded and the dough thickness marked on them in mm and ins. The 2mm rings I use for re-rolling sheet pastry so that the pies I make are less calorific than would be otherwise. I used the 10mm rings for pizza dough and these came out more round than I usually achieve and a good thickness for deep pan pizza. Going to try the 3mm rings next time for thin crust. So easy to clean.

Its ok
Ok. Expensive for what it is. Don't like the dials which i have removed, but then not the easiest to use without them.Its fine, but not quite as nifty as i expected.

Great for marzipan and icing
It’s not bad but pastry has to be long to get best results.

Bonus box
Very good product arrived on time and as an added bonus had an amazing rolling mat inside the box which is chiller and oven proof (if you have a large oven) definitely would recommend although no mention of the mat was made so I don’t know if it normally comes with it or I just got a very nice bonus.

Fab tool to have to make sure whatever you’re rolling is an equal thickness
