I like these light up pens! Very handy for writing in low light! The write smooth, are lightweight, comfortable to write with, and even came with extra batteries! Bonus! Hopefully they'll continue to function well and last a long time.

Good but the ink tip keep sliding back in

I wanted a pen with a light so I could make note of things that cross my mind at night. (If I turn on a light I end up being up for at least an hour, instead of sleeping.) This light pen works exactly as I'd hoped. If I wake and need to write down something I grab my planner, click the pen light on, jot down my thought, put my journal and pen down, and settle back into the bed for sleep.The package includes four light pens, six extra ink cartridges, three batteries, and a user guide. I was also gifted an extra pen light, for the total of five pens.The pen is ballpoint, has a bit of weight, the body is large enough to comfortably hold in the hand, and the pen glides smoothly when writing, nice ink! When the light is activated on the pen it's just the right brightness, not so bright it shocks the senses but plenty bright enough to see your writing surface well, as well as seeing what your writing. I've also used it as a flashlight to look for a small object I'd dropped.I've been using these pens for over a month. I find I reach for it often, to use just for writing (without the light on). I've given one away, tucked one in my purse, keep one on my desk, and of course have one tucked into my planner. I'm picky when it comes to pens, they have to feel 'right' in my hand, the ink must be smooth, and there can be no drag, scratchiness, or skipping. These pens has given me none of those problems. Overall, I'm quite pleased with this product. Hope it works for you, too!

Good pen. They write well. They are nice and bright so that they can be seen at night at an accident scene. I have lost many pens at night because I just didn't know I was leaving them behind. Only problem is that in one of the pens it is missing the glow in the dark bead. For what I use them for this is important. It comes with new batteries, three blue and three black refills.

We were looking for pen "lights" that we might use by our bedside to jot down thoughts from dreams or by being awake - we are of a certain age - so that we would not have to write in the dark or turn on the lamp. These seemed just right - the package comes with three lights - three refills and batteries - great value!I'm sure for some folks these pens/lights are PERFECT! I tried them out before going to bed and there was plenty of light - but I did NOT try them out in the DARK. So, wanting to be discreet and write down a dream fragment - I pushed the button... and the WHOLE ROOM was illuminated. Okay, is a bit of an exaggeration - but my spouse woke up because of the BIG LIGHT - which was unfortunate. I used black tape to cover up the barrel of the pen - and it STILL puts out a giant beam of light. So, if you want just a "bit" of light to write by - look elsewhere - but if you want a LOT of light - these great lights more than do the job.

These are the most thoughtfully designed light-up pens I've ever used.The design of the pen makes it easy to find in the dark, if - like me - you store all of your pens in a single cup or drawer.The light is nice and bright, lighting whatever you're writing on (not just at the very tip of the pen), without being a broad enough light to wake your partner in bed.The ink flows pretty well, and the point is easy to write with.I especially like the tiny glow-in-the-dark ball inside a clear section of the pen. That makes it even easier to find this pen in the dark, even when you're really sleepy.I'm not sure I'd use it for all writing purposes during the day (I use fountain pens, so I may be prejudiced), but for writing in a dark setting, this is easily the best pen of its kind, among the many I've tried.
