Reads Like an Episode
My 2 year old loves Jake and the Never Land Pirates. She has never been this into a show before. I brought a Jake book home from the library, and she wanted to carry it around and take it to bed with her. I decided she had to have her own book, in case she ripped a page or something. I found this one and liked the price. As soon as I got it, she wanted me to read it to her. Even as a young two year old, she was into the story. I like it because it follows along similar to the show. Many of the popular saying, like "Yo ho, let's go" are in the story. At the end, they count the doubloons. My daughter really enjoyed it. There are also some jokes on many of the pages, something my daughter didn't understand but older kids will. This is great for any child that loves Jake.

Hard to read on new kindle fire
This is one of those books that uses a picture in place of a few frequently used words (I.e., a picture of Hook instead of his name). But on my new kindle fire, the pictures were not in line with the sentence (making it very difficult to read) and the poor formatting pushed some words completely off of the screen.Story was ok. My three-year-old son liked it. I'm neutral.

Book seemed squished on kindle version
My little boy (2) absolutely loves anything and everything Jake and the Neverland Pirates, so when we saw there were kindle versions of the paperback books, you can imagine his excitement. Anyway, we got it downloaded quickly without any problems and as we opened it, it just didn't look right on the screen. There are sentences that just run off the page and then a whole new paragraph begins on the next page! There are text words that overlap the characters faces or even over other words on the page and it doesn't make for easy reading. We were extremely sad that our new "Jake download" was a big let down.

Bad Formatting!
Bought this eBook, plus a few other "World of Reading" titles - and sad to say I'm very disappointed by the poor quality of the Kindle edition. The Pre-1 level books use icons within the text to help kids to read.Unfortunately, the icons are not aligned to the text - and there are several pages where the icons are buried under text, showing up in the wrong spot, or sentences which are left incomplete.Based on other reviews, the formatting issue is widespread across multiple platforms.Quite unfortunate, since my kids love the Jake and the Neverland Pirates. For this price, at the very least, I expected a properly formatted book.

Perfect For my two year old
My two year old LOVES Jake & this book is small enough to catch his short attention span. He flips the pages and tells me a story.

Can't go wrong with Jake
AH! JNLP! What boys childhood would be complete without these?... Lol! A spin off of Peter Pan these short stories are condensed versions of the shows on DisneyJr.My son is obsessed, so naturally for a long flight I just about finished off his collection.I will always recommend JNLP to any parent!

Nephew loves it!
My mum ordered this for my 3 year old nephew who loves everything Jake and the Never land Pirates, for a Christmas gift. He loved it, and couldn't wait for rest time to read his new books! It was easy enough to read that when he begins learning to read, he won't have a very hard time with it.

Fun for little ones.
My three year loves Jake and enjoyed these as stocking stuffers from Santa. They include pictures in the text so he can help "read" the story.

Yo ho ho!
My four year old is a great Jake and the Neverland Pirates fan. Sometimes, kids tv shows don't translate too well into books --- but in this case I think the author has done really well. The story flows quickly and the language easy for a four year old to understand, and tells a great story too! Jake finds a pogo stick and the story goes from there...

Reasonable, but not the best
This book is okay and my 3 year daughter liked it, but the paper quality is poor and thin and the story itself is a little uninspiring and all over everywhere. It's not the sort of story that you want to read over and over again because it is so lovely.

Not as good as they could be
These are a great idea and i will buy more but they dont follow the reading system taught at my daughters school so she feels a little less confident with them.
