Thank you Amazon!
This laptop presents a rather commendable array of specifications; its notable upgrade potential is particularly impressive, enabling substantial RAM expansion of up to a remarkable 64GB RAM, which significantly enhances both its speed and multitasking prowess. The laptop comes equipped with two DDR4 slots and is fully compatible with Intel's powerful Pentium Gold 7505 processor, making it a straightforward task to upgrade from the pre-installed 4GB of RAM. A single 32GB RAM module, when paired with it's powerful Pentium Gold 7505 processor capable of achieving speeds of up to 3.5 GHz, can effortlessly handle even the most demanding tasks without any lag. It’s worth noting that the memory banks utilise DDR4 technology rather than LPDDR4, granting user accessibility since the 4GB in the first slot is not soldered. The design allows for easy access to both memory slots, enabling users to install modules of 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, or even 32GB, ultimately reaching a maximum memory capacity of 64GB. However, one should be mindful that the actual capacity may depend on the quality of the memory modules used. For instance, Crucial RAM sticks operating at 3200MHz have been tested and found to work particularly well with ASUS Vivobook laptops, in contrast to Corsair or other brands. Although Corsair RAM sticks do function well with ASUS 14 Vivo book laptops most of the time, they occasionally limit the maximum usable capacity to around 40-45GB, unlike memory modules from reputable brands like Crucial, which can utilise the full 64GB.Moreover, the laptop comes with a 128GB M.2 Solid State NVME hard drive, ensuring swifter read/write speeds and a quicker system boot-up when first powered on. Do note that not all memory sticks will be compatible; however, those from Crucial have consistently demonstrated reliability and are widely available on Amazon at a reasonable price (Crucial RAM 8GB/16GB/32GB DDR4 3200MHz CL22).On the graphics side, the laptop features an integrated Intel UHD Graphics card, capable of managing moderate video editing tasks, though it does have limitations compared to systems with dedicated GPUs, such as those from NVIDIA GeForce or AMD Radeon found in high-performance gaming laptops. The Intel UHD Graphics card provides satisfactory performance for day-to-day activities, including web browsing, video streaming, productivity applications, and light to moderate gaming. It supports HDR video playback and streaming with refresh rates up to 60hz, ensuring smooth rendering across most online streaming platforms. Additionally, it accommodates a variety of graphics APIs, including DirectX and OpenGL, making it suitable for tasks such as photo editing, moderate gaming, video conferencing, and business applications. While it can manage some AAA titles with lower settings, and older games, such as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, League of Legends, and Minecraft, it is not ideally suited for high-end gaming or graphics-intensive applications; nevertheless, it performs reasonably well. It features hardware TPM and data-at-rest encryption through Windows BitLocker. The BitLocker keys can be retrieved from https://account.microsoft.com/devices/recoverykey, as they are automatically uploaded to your account during setup. Windows BitLocker can also be disabled from the Privacy & Security settings in Windows 11. Overall, it is a splendid business laptop. On a separate note, I must commend the promptness of the delivery, which was executed without a hitch. I highly recommend procuring your items directly from Amazon rather than relying on third-party sellers. Thank you Amazon!

Really pleased with this, it performs well
My old laptop recently decided to retire itself, against my wishes, and so I was in the market for a new one at short notice. I knew I didn't want to spend a fortune as I'm looking at other options next year for a desktop model instead, but I needed something that would see me through the year without causing me issues with performance.I was looking at various models when I decided to check out Amazon Warehouse to see what they could offer. I was pleasantly surprised to find this Asus Vivobook 14" laptop in there for a very decent price. It was the lowest spec of the available models in this range, but I thought it would still do me fine for the year ahead with how I planned to use it.I'm a few weeks in now and it has been a delight to own so far. Hopefully, I'll still be saying that in a year's time (touch wood). I'm not into needing particularly high specs, but the RAM and storage on this is enough for my needs and it works quickly and smoothly with everything I'm throwing at it. Build quality is very good, the display is superbly crisp and bright, and despite my reservations about moving up to Windows 11 from my preferred Windows 10 ... it's actually pretty good also! The Warehouse description did say it would be repackaged and may have scratches, but honestly, it's close on perfect apart from the removal of a sticker beside the touchpad. I may even go on to upgrade the RAM myself if I do keep enjoying using it so that it will offer even more. However, so far, it's a lovely little laptop and I'm really happy with it!

It does what I need it to...
This laptop is adequate (no bells & whistles here though), it's very basic, the keypad doesn't even have a backlight, it's a bit difficult to navigate, however, I bought it for a good price on Prime Day, and I'm not exactly a tech whiz!

Pretty impressed so far. Great for the money.
With my old laptop starting to become unreliable, I was in the market for a new laptop. I wanted to have something which could cope with day to day tasks without coming close to its limits in order to cope over the longer term. The SSD means start up is quick and most tasks are performed quickly and without fuss. the screen is good without being great - one positive is that the screen doesn't seem to suffer too badly from reflections. Also, the battery has impressed me so far (not too hard after my old laptop only lasted 15 mins). This battery cruises past 4-5hours without being pressed too hard. If you are careful, I would guess 8-9 hours would be possible.pros:+ great value for money+ Good amount of storage+ enough RAM to cope with most things+good screen+ full numpad without the keyboard feeling too cramped+ Enough storage for most families+ up to date Windows fully supported with updates from windowscons:- not too many I have come across yet, I find it annoying that you have to press the Fn button to do what I consider to be the normal functions of the F buttons - e.g. f12 access "my Asus" rather than "save as" in word etc.Overall: I would thoroughly recommend this laptop - after searching for quite a while this one seemed the best value for money and I would suggest you won't be disappointed if you buy this.
